“The cancellation of the launch party for Beyonce’s “I AM…” tour, first scheduled for this Saturday at M2, was a result of a breach of contract by the promoter. Beyonce never had a contract with the club itself and no one in her camp dealt directly with the venue. The superstar was never scheduled to perform but was to serve as a co-host and introduce singer/songwriter Solange’s performance. Patrons were falsely promised a performance by Beyonce.”

Michael Jackson wants a judge to throw out a default judgement against him in a $44 million lawsuit. Michael claims he was never properly served in his ex-publicist Raymone Bain's lawsuit against him for failure to pay for management and publicity services. The judge entered a default judgment against him when he failed to answer her complaint. Bain claims she sent a process server to Neverland Ranch and the server was told to "get the f*** out of here!"

Elgin Lumpkin, better known as Ginuwine, revealed recently in Essence.com he went on a suicidal drug and alcohol-fueled binge after his father's suicide and the death of his mother.

"I really didn't want to be here anymore, I didn't want to live and tried to commit suicide more than once...I was done mentally and emotionally...I was depressed and felt like I had nobody to talk to that could relate to me. NFL Commissioner Yanks Dante Stallworth's Leash

Dante Stallworth may have gotten a slap on the wrist for his guilty plea in his DUI manslaughter case, but the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, stood up and said 'not so fast'.

"The conduct reflected in your guilty plea resulted in the tragic loss of life
and was inexcusable," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a letter to
Stallworth. "While the criminal justice system has determined the legal
consequences of this incident, it is my responsibility as NFL commissioner to
determine appropriate league discipline for your actions, which have caused
irreparable harm to the victim and his family, your club, your fellow players
and the NFL," Goodell said.

Goodell suspended Stallworth indefinitely without pay.

Janet Hubert, who played the original Aunt Viv on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, criticizes Will Smith's business practices in her new book Perfection Is Not A Sitcom Mom. Tyra's stalker gets 1 year probation

Brady Greene, the Georgia man convicted in April of stalking model and talk show host, Tyra Banks, was sentenced to one year probation yesterday. Greene must also stay away from Tyra for two years. Greene rode a bus for 4 days from LA to NY where he had no job, friends, or place to stay, then went straight to Tyra's studio. He threatened to cut a staffer's throat and allegedly asked "Is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a bitch?" when they wouldn't tell him where Tyra was; when he was arrested, he told officers he and Tyra "had a thing together."

Tyra is forever complaining on her show about the lack of available men and here she is turning away one who is literally willing to go to the ends of the earth for her. SMH and LOL

Breaking News: Dante Stallworth has reached a settlement

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Dante Stallworth has reached a settlement with the family of Mario Reyes, the man he struck and killed while driving under the influence. Stallworth struck Reyes with his Bentley as he was crossing the causeway early one March morning as the ballplayer returned from a night out in Miami Beach. Stallworth's blood alcohol level measured 0.126, well above Florida's legal limit of 0.08. Stallworth plead guilty just minutes ago to DUI manslaughter. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 10 years probation, and 1000 hours of community service. The amount of the settlement is confidential.
