Breaking News: Dante Stallworth has reached a settlement
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Dante Stallworth has reached a settlement with the family of Mario Reyes, the man he struck and killed while driving under the influence. Stallworth struck Reyes with his Bentley as he was crossing the causeway early one March morning as the ballplayer returned from a night out in Miami Beach. Stallworth's blood alcohol level measured 0.126, well above Florida's legal limit of 0.08. Stallworth plead guilty just minutes ago to DUI manslaughter. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 10 years probation, and 1000 hours of community service. The amount of the settlement is confidential.
Edit: My guest contributor was a little overzealous with the note about credit. Let's just say we got the scoop on everyone including the AP.

Wow, I bet it was a substantial sum of money. Dante is paying a high price for a night of partying. Everyday he should ask himself why he didn't just have a car service drive him home. He can afford it.
