Michael Jackson as a child would hide out at Berry Gordy's home, RadarOnline reports that Jackson now rests in Motown Records’ founder Berry Gordy’s Crypt at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, CA. Soures indicate it’s a temporary resting place while the Jackson family find a permanent resting place. It has also been reported that Michael Jackson's casket was the same model used to bury James Brown.

Chrisette Michele Joins Maxwell on Tour

Chrisette Michele has been chosen as the opening act for Maxwell during his sold-out 14 city U.S. tour in support of BLACKsummers'night, his comeback album that was released on July 7.

Michael is still on top of the charts

Michael Jackson had three of the top 5 best-selling albums for the second week in a row last week (and he didn't even pass away until the second half of the first week). Here are the stats for the week ending July 5, 2009:

Number Ones sold 339,000 copies and would have been #1 on the Billboard 200 if catalogue albums were eligible for that chart. It more than twice as many as the album they put at #1. It is still #1 on the catalogue chart for the second week in a row. Including an album by the Jackson 5, Michael holds all 10 positions on the catalogue chart. Go back and read that again.

Thriller sold 187,000 copies and would have been #2, up from #3 the week before, if it were eligible for the chart. (Billboard is hating.)

The Essential Michael Jackson sold 125,000 copies and was also ineligible for the official chart. It would have been #5, down from #2 the week before.

Number Ones is also #1 in the UK and other places around the world. Michael is also topping charts in Japan with a special compilation called the King of Pop. It is currently at #6 in that country.

Michael's solo catalogue of albums sold 800,000 copies this past week, up from 422,000 the week before. Recall that first week was the week he passed and only included a few days.

1. police and media referring to her as a "girlfriend" Jump-off or side piece would be the proper terminology
2. media continuing to interview her friends and family who have repeatedly lied to sugarcoat her personality and situation
3. media ignoring the racy and hoeish nature of all those photos she posted on Facebook with her T & A hanging out. Can we at least get a comment?
4. media acting as if it is perfectly acceptable and legal to leave home at age 15 to move to another state with your adult boyfriend. Would someone please question her family about THIS? How the hell were they raising her? Could we get some charges filed against that boyfriend for statutory rape? Can we charge her parents with something please or at least make them understand they were not going about things the right way?
5. people making excuses for the "stress" in her life. If worrying about making rent and car note are valid excuses for murder, I'm about to go postal on a select few people. The stuff they are talking about is normal everyday stuff. The fact that she couldn't handle it is further proof she had ongoing mental issues--issues I'm sure her friends and family were aware of.
6. media continuing to ignore the fact this girl knew he had a wife and kids, even met his family when they came in to eat at the restaurant where she waitressed. She gave nary a thought to his kids when he was flying her all over the country on lavish vacations or showering her with gifts. Even if he said he was getting divorced (which, by the way, sounds like some bull she and/or her sister-cousin cooked up to make her look less like a homewrecker because no papers were ever filed and the wife doesn't know anything about it) he was STILL MARRIED. "Getting divorced" isn't the same as "divorced."
7. Media ignoring the fact she had an unregistered, unlicensed handgun she purchased illegally from a co-worker. Can we at least get an arrest there?
8. If the jump-off had been named Shaniqua instead of Shahel, they would have ruled on cause of death at the scene. Her co-worker would have been in jail and her family would have been ignored. The media might have delved into her past, painting her as a loose woman who was looking to make a buck off McNair and lost it when it didn't pay off. Her family wouldn't have been given a chance to defend her character. We wouldn't have heard about her dead mother. She wouldn't be given the title girlfriend or even mistress. She would have been labeled "regular call girl" or something along those lines. They might have even sprinkled some crack around the scene a la Dave Chappelle. I'm just saying...

A Philadelphia-area day care center said Thursday that members of a private swim club made racist comments about the center's children, and the club then canceled their swimming privileges. The day center's director, Alethea Wright, had contracted to use the club once a week. During their first visit, some children said they heard club members asking why African-American children were there.One of the boys told the Philadelphia Inquirer that a woman at the club said she feared the children "might do something" to her child. Days later, the day care center's $1,950 check was returned without explanation, Wright said.

According to John Duesler, President of The Valley Swim Club -- "there was concern that a lot of kids would change the complexion(WTF?!) ... and the atmosphere of the club."

The coroner in Nashville has ruled Steve McNair's death a murder-suicide. Authorites say Steve was asleep when his JUMP-OFF (I felt the need to clarify that since the media keeps elevating her to girlfriend status) shot him four times at close range before turning the recently purchased gun on herself.

Kazemi's friends say she was distraught over having the rent on her Hermitage apartment double when her roommate moved out and having to make payments on the new Escalade McNair purchased for her. Katherine lost control

Yesterday a judge denied Katherine Jackson's request to obtain control of her son Michael's estate. I know I might sound crazy, because a lot of you who are reading are probably like, I wish I had this nicca’s money. But, the truth is that money got me twisted. All I want to do is go back to making music for the love of it. The accolades and the awards are for everyone else. The music is for me. The music is my happiness. Each person selected received two tickets. The odds of getting a ticket were about 1 in 183. One person who won't be at the service will be Jackson himself who will be likely laid to rest quietly today at Forest Lawn Cemetery. NBC joins ABC, CNN, MSNBC and E! Entertainment in offering the ceremony live at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning (1 p.m. est).

The press, especially in his hometown of Nashville, is painting Steve McNair's affair with a rose-colored brush. There has been far more attention paid to his mistress than to his wife and children or even himself. The media is obsessed with this golddigger. Shahel Kazemi's family has come forth to say they were hesitant about the affair because of their age difference and because he was a married man. Her niece (who is older than she is) has said Kazemi made McNair wait to date until he said he was leaving his wife and kids. The family maintains she was too sweet and loving to have committed these murders and insist the killer was a third person.

Here is what we know so far:

Reportedly Kazemi moved to Nashville with another boyfriend when she was around 15 or 16.

She knew he was married and went on numerous vacations with him.

There is no record of a divorce filing in McNair's county of residence.

Reports say McNair is not the first older man she has been involved with.

McNair allowed her to use his Bentley and eventually bought her an Escalade; the same Escalade was impounded as evidence after the murders

-Her family says they did not approve of the relationship because of his race her age.
-Unconfirmed reports claim a white woman approached McNair at a restaurant a few hours before his death and accused him of slipping her roofies a year ago saying she would have her boyfriend kill him. Could this be a story planeted by Kazemi's family to try and clear her name?
-She was Persian and supposedly B'hai. In my opinion that still does not rule out an honor killing. -This was not McNair's first affair.

Serena Williams Won Wimbeldon

Serena Williams defeated her sister Venus Saturday in the women's finals at Wimbeldon. Serena won 7-6 6-2 to earn her 11th Grand Slam singles title in the 21st career meeting of the sisters. This victory brings her one short of the record set by legend Billie Jean King who was watching center court from the Royal Box on Saturday.
