Anita Baker's ex- might get her royalties

According to the Detroit News and Channel 7, Anita Baker's ex-husband is after part of her royalties from her singing career.  The singer-songwriter faces possible jail time in a contempt of court hearing in Wayne County after refusing to sign documents to turn over some of her royalties from her long career over to her ex-.  The two have two teenaged sons.  Says the 52-year-old Baker, "I've been in the music business more than 20 years. We are talking about a multimillion-dollar business."  The thing is, I have heard him sing not a note!  Get a job man, get a job.

The House of Dereon is now a broken home

Beyonce Knowles' mother, Tina Knowles began divorce proceedings in Houston on November 11th from her husband of 29 years, Matthew Knowles. The divorce filing comes on the heels of a paternity suit filed last month by Alexsandra Wright. Wright claims Matthew is the father of her unborn child.

Mrs. Knowles claims the split is amicable with the couple remaining friendly and asks the media and public respect their privady.

Elin has left the mansion

They say Tony the Tiger is fixin' to change his name...

Tiger Woods’ wife, Elin Woods, has reportedly moved out of the couple’s Florida home and is living with friends nearby, according to Radar Online.

But good Woods source broke it down today when he said, ‘‘Elin has been taking a bit of a break, but Tiger and his team are still hopeful she won’t leave permanently.”

A&E still wants the Shaunie and Shaq Show

Despite Shaunie having uprooted the kids, moved to California, and filed for divorce from her NBA star hubby Shaquille O'Neill, the A & E network (do they ever show any art?) is still interested in their show. A & E executives say they have viewed the pilot for Shaq and Shaunie's reality show and are still very interested in purchasing espisodes of the show. Haven't they learned anything from watching the Jon & Kate Plus 8 trainwreck? I don't see this being good for the O'Neill children in any way. The O'Neills have currently put filming of the show on hold.

Meet Laura Govan

She is the fiance of Washington Wizard baller Gibert Arenas, mother of his two children and close friend of Va'shaundya(Shaunie) O'neal. Rumor has it that Shaq is shacking with Ms. Govan and that paper she's holding up is the petition for legal separation Shaunie's lawyers filed in LA County Superior Court. Shaunie has up and moved her four children with Shaq to live in Cali to take advantage of the generally generous spousal support in that state and besides there was no way she was moving to Cleveland.

Usher's Divorce is Final

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane issued a final decree in the divorce case last Wednesday. Sources close to Usher and Tameka Raymond claim,“She only got what the prenuptial agreement said she would. There was no big payday, but Usher is taking great care of his kids.”

Meanwhile, Tameka is still googling 'tameka divorce' to see if its' final yet.

Nas isn't a sucker

Even though many media are reporting a Nas and Kelis reconciliation, Nas still isn't falling for the okedoke. According to Tee eM Zee, Nas recently filed papers seeking joint custody of their newborn son and seeking to bar Kelis from receiving spousal support. I don't see anything wrong with that. Kelis is a star in her own right and has plenty of her own money and a father should participate in the raising of his children, sooo. Of course, it seems he doesn't want to come up off of any paper...if he does get joint custody, I hope he takes it seriously.

BTW, two questions: 1) what is he looking at in this picture and 2) doesn't the back of that dress look like the front?

Tameka speaks out about Usher's "Papers"

According to reports, R & B singer Usher Raymond got into it with his estranged wife Tameka Foster this past weekend over the care of their children. It was Usher's weekend with the two young boys, but he had plans so he left them with his mother (who is also his manager). When his soon-to-be-ex wife Tameka found out about it she went over to his mother's house to retrieve the children because she did not approve of the arrangement. His mother refused to answer the door for the irate woman. Later on, when Usher returned from his engagement, he found his car keyed and his tires slashed. He called 911 to blame it on Tameka. Their breakup just gets uglier and uglier the closer his album release date draws near.

Guy filed for divorce through the L.A. Superior Court from her husband of 11-years, Terrence Mitchell Duckett. In the divorce settlement Guy received custody of their 10 year-old daughter, cars, jewelry, furniture and art work. Guy also owes back taxes and penalties adding up to $123,503. The debt has forced Guy to file for Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Her ex also owes a whopping $94,354. (note: in bankruptcy you cannot include any federal or state income taxes)

Tameka blames y'all for her breakup

Usher's soon-to-be-ex-wife opened up to Upscale Magazine about the role outside forces played in the failure of her marriage to the R&B star:

“...I understand where all the negativity comes from. Unfortunately I think that some black women are – subconsciously – not in love with the image they see in the mirror. Therefore in turn they do not love someone like me. I look too much like them. They would definitely have preferred my husband marry someone more exotic looking. Instead of saying 'wow, she looks like me. She’s living a fairytale' - they criticize...Yes it played a factor. I was not given a fair shot. People passed judgment without getting to know me. Tracey Morgan Files For Divorce

There were no laughs for comedian Tracy Morgan this past Friday, when he filed for a divorce from his high school sweetheart. The legal split, filed in Bronx Supreme Court, was no surprise to acquaintances of Morgan, who said he has been separated from his wife, Sabina, for about eight years.

"Basically they were divorced without the paperwork," one friend said. "It seems like he has had a different girlfriend every five months or so. In the past three years, I've met three girlfriends." Morgan, 40, was a regular on "Saturday Night Live" from 1996 to 2003. He plays the character Tracy Jordan on the Emmy award winning NBC comedy, "30 Rock."

Details of the case, including the reason for the split, are sealed.
Morgan and his wife have three sons together. They have been married for 23 years.

Forget Twitter. Now Usher is tatting messages to his soon-to-be-ex-missus. I hope Meke Meke has some money left over from the plastic surgery fund to pay the lawyers.
