The Grammys 3-D Earth Song Tribute to Michael Jackson

Hearing Michael's voice in this song sent chills through me. He is so impassioned, especially in the call and response. I thought the tribute was beautifully done; each singer brought something special to the tribute. Michael was always cutting edge, so it is only fitting that Michael be the first artist to bring 3-D to broadcast television.

Remember when Usher accused his ex Tameka of defacing his GMC Yukon parked in his driveway just before she got served 'papers'?
Well right before Christmas that same SUV was broken into on Dec. 14th when Urrrshh and another man stopped in an AT&T store near the Lenox Mall, reports Fox 5 in the ATL (why this took a month to report, ya got me they must Sky Tel the reports)

Usher claims the car contained $1 million of jewelry plus $50,000 in furs and clothing.

A witness told police they saw a man get out of a burgundy Chevy Impala that looked a lot like Tameka with tinted windows and pop open the door to the SUV, making off with the goods.

A source also told Fox 5 that the “YEAH” singer was particularly upset about two laptops that were stolen because they contained new songs that he’s been working on to replace music from his new cd that has already been leaked on the internet .

Usher's Divorce is Final

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane issued a final decree in the divorce case last Wednesday. Sources close to Usher and Tameka Raymond claim,“She only got what the prenuptial agreement said she would. There was no big payday, but Usher is taking great care of his kids.”

Meanwhile, Tameka is still googling 'tameka divorce' to see if its' final yet.

According to reports, R & B singer Usher Raymond got into it with his estranged wife Tameka Foster this past weekend over the care of their children. It was Usher's weekend with the two young boys, but he had plans so he left them with his mother (who is also his manager). When his soon-to-be-ex wife Tameka found out about it she went over to his mother's house to retrieve the children because she did not approve of the arrangement. His mother refused to answer the door for the irate woman. Later on, when Usher returned from his engagement, he found his car keyed and his tires slashed. He called 911 to blame it on Tameka. Their breakup just gets uglier and uglier the closer his album release date draws near.

Def Jam fired Usher's woman

Word has it Def Jam's LA Reid pressured Grace Miguel to resign last week. Miguel is rumored to have started an affair with Usher last year during his marriage to Tameka Foster; Miguel, 12 years his senior, was also married at the time. Reportedly, Reid thought the affair brought too much negative attention to the troubled label and was hurting Usher's already embattled image. Usher's fans had already been deserting him in droves due to his unpopular marriage to Foster. Allegedly their affair also began while she was married to another man.

Tameka blames y'all for her breakup

Usher's soon-to-be-ex-wife opened up to Upscale Magazine about the role outside forces played in the failure of her marriage to the R&B star:

“...I understand where all the negativity comes from. Unfortunately I think that some black women are – subconsciously – not in love with the image they see in the mirror. Therefore in turn they do not love someone like me. I look too much like them. They would definitely have preferred my husband marry someone more exotic looking. Instead of saying 'wow, she looks like me. She’s living a fairytale' - they criticize...Yes it played a factor. I was not given a fair shot. People passed judgment without getting to know me. How can you get the entire concept of who I am from a blog?"

Usher's divorce petition claims he and Tameka have been separated for a year, but she says it isn't so. Matter fact, she claims he came over the week before he filed just to smack it, flip it, and rub it down. If she's telling the truth, she may very well have another bun in the oven. Y'all know how fertile she is.

Tameka defends herself

Usher's estranged wife Tameka Foster Raymond defended herself in the wake of his recent divorce filing. Tameka has retained big time sports and entertainment lawyer, Randy Kessler. Yesterday, Kessler said his client was a "faithful wife and loving mother" if you don't count the husband and three children she left behind to get with Usher. Kessler formerly represented Mack 10 in his divorce from T-Boz and represented the babymamas of both TI and Evander Holyfield in custody and child support cases.

Usher Filed for Divorce--No, for real this time!

The other day I posted InTouch Weekly reported Usher had filed for divorce in Atlanta. The day after that, the blogosphere was abuzz because other news sources claimed the document could not be located in the courthouse. Now the Associated Press, which is about as respectable as you can get, is reporting Usher filed for divorce in Atlanta, but on Friday.

They have two young sons, 1 1/2-year-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. His wife has three children from a previous marriage. Usher opened up to the AP about how negative publicity from bloggers afected his relationship.

"People are so attracted to drama. That's easier to take than a story of righteousness," Usher said at the time...I decided to marry this woman, then I decide to be a father to my child," he said. "... It's not like I got caught with a gram of coke in my car or speeding or was caught for murder, so why would I be ridiculed, that's why I don't understand -- that's the part that is mind boggling. Why would I be ridiculed for that, even a year later."

It was that secret surgery trip that did it

Like that Trina song, Usher is single again. According to In Touch Weekly Usher has filed for divorce.

The Grammy winner has been living apart from his wife for nearly a year after almost two years of marriage,” an insider exclusively tells In Touch, adding, “Usher’s primary concern is for his children. He is a great father and just wants to do what is right for them.” The soon-to-be exes have two kids together, Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and Naviyd, 6 months. And the insider says that it’s more than just talk — the divorce papers were filed in Atlanta this morning.

Shades of Beyonce

Usher attended the Boys & Girls Club of Chattanooga as a child and has recently signed on to be a spokesperson. He had this to say at the unveiling of his billboard last month:

"Places like the Boys & Girls Club helped me be that icon I am today."

I think it's wonderful Usher is speaking up for this wonderful organization, but he is really believing all that smoke Tameka blew up his ass last night. You have to be around for more than a decade or two to be an icon.
