Kim Kardashian has a new sex tape

Kim K. has a new sex tape.  This time the lucky guy is.....a chicken!  Check out Kim's new sexually-charged commercial for Carl's, Jr.  Too bad she wasn't this participatory with Ray J.

Kobe Bryant poses for GQ

NBA baller Kobe Bryant took time out of his busy schedule to visit GQ Magazine for a photo shoot.  I could have done without the closeup photo; all those contrasting patterns make my head hurt.  He definitely got his grown many sexy on in the bottom two pictures.  I think he looks dapper in his charcoal suit and hat.

I'm sorry but we cannot make you America's Next Top Talk Show Host

After five years on the air with the Tyra Banks Show, talk show host, model, actress, and producer Tyra Banks has announced she will retire next Spring.  Tyra's retirement comes as a surprise to some who thought she would be strategically planner her next moves in the wake of Oprah's announced retirement.  Tyra says she wants to focus on film and tv development deals, while others say she wants to devote more time to starting a family.  We wish her the best of luck.

Teddy Riley's daughters say he beat them

Superproducer Teddy Riley of Blackstreet and formerly of Guy, has been accused by his teenaged daughters of brutally beating them.  According to Riley's 18-year-old daughter Taja, Riley became enraged after she and her sister Deja Twittered they do not like his new young girlfriend, who is only a few years older than they.  Taja claims he came home and beat them with a Guitar Hero guitar and punched and kicked them before ejecting them from the house.  Taja and Deja have filed a restraining order against their father.

Wear your good underwear

The Netherlands will immediately begin use of its 15 full body scanners to analyze passengers flying to the United States.  The increased security comes in the wake of Friday's failed attempt by a Nigerian passenger to detonate an explosive device aboard Northwest 253 from Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport to Detroit, Michigan.  Umar Farouk Abdulmuttallab passed through a security checkpoint which included baggage scanning and a metal detector during his layover in the Netherlands.  The full body scanners have not been used there due to privacy objections; the scanners show security personnel the body contours of passengers.  Authorities in the Netherlands say they will employ new software that only highlights areas of the body where items are stored, such as pockets.  Still, authorities advise all passengers to wear their good underwear for their flight.

Tiger is costing you money

Superstar golfer Tiger Woods' sex scandal involving upwards of 17 alleged mistresses may have cost shareholders of the companies he endorsed as much as $12 billion in losses.  Research by economics professors Christopher Knittel and Victor Stango of  the University of California, Davis, released a study Monday estimating the economic losses of Woods' main sponsors since revelations of his extramarital affairs surfaced around Thanksgiving.

“We estimate that shareholders of Tiger Woods’ sponsors lost $5-12 billion after his car accident, relative to shareholders of firms that Mr. Woods does not endorse,” the researchers wrote, adding that millions of shareholders were affected. Tiger Woods is estimated to earn around $100 million a year through endorsements alone.  Many of his sponsors have pulled their endorsement deals in the wake of the scandal.

It's all going up in smoke, so Tiger may as well take advantage

As Tiger Woods' personal and professional life goes up in smoke, an Orlando, Florida-based cigar company has offered him an endorsement deal for their tobacco products.  Here is an open letter from their company:
While Corona Cigar Company does not condone Tiger Woods’ extra-marital affairs, there is no denying that Tiger Woods is one of the greatest golfers of all time. (And let’s not forget all the good that Tiger has done with his generous charitable contributions.)
We respect the Woods family’s privacy and wish the best for them as they go through this difficult time. With support from the community including local businesses such as Corona Cigar, we hope the healing process may begin.
With that said, we believe that Tiger Woods will soon return to the golf course. Nothing pairs quite as well as enjoying a premium cigar on a golf course. Many of our customers are golf enthusiasts and many golfers are cigar enthusiasts.
We hope Tiger Woods accepts our offer to be the official spokesperson for Corona Cigar Company.
The company has offered Woods a $100,000 endorsement deal.  Too bad they don't realize that won't even cover his monthly data plan bill for texting all those women...

Some folks don't like this photo one bit

Critics are up in arms about a new David LaChappelle photo of Kanye West and Lady Gaga.  LaChappelle, an avant-garde photographer best-known for his color-saturated images of celebrities in whimisical situations, shot the duo for the cover of the Fame Monster album.  Critics say the photo is racist and depicts a sweating savage African almost sullying the pure white damsel in distress moments after he has plucked her off her pedestal.  Some even  go so far as to say the photo is reminiscent of images of King Kong and Fay Wray.

Personally, I just wanna know:
1.  Why is Gaga naked?
2. Why did they chop off her backside with photoshop?
3.Why isn't SHE sweating?
4. Whose abs those are on Kanye ('cause they sure ain't his)?
AND
5. Where has Amber Rose been hiding?  Normally, she would have taken something like this and run with it.  Hmmmmmm......

I've found Amber

I spoke too soon about Kanye's consort Amber Rose laying low.  She just wrapped up a hot photo shoot for Vibe Magazine.  I think the whole thing has attitude, however that top photo with the bowl haircut and the upolstery fabric jacket is a massive fail!  Otherwise, Amber is killing it!  She looks stunning in white and the bottom picture makes me want to enter the Matrix.  (They had the best clothes in those films.)

What's in a name, JiggaMan?

I have no idea if this is true or not, but it makes an interesting story.  According to the Daily Star newspaper, Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z are planning to legally hyphenate their last names.
The majority of U.S. women still take their husband's last name at marriage, though the custom is waning in popularity in favor of hyphenated last names, the wife keeping her maiden name, and blending last names.
Rather than Beyonce taking on her husband's name after marrying, as is still the custom in the United States, “they want to keep Knowles because Beyonce’s parents didn’t have any sons and they’re keen to keep the name going strong, especially if they don’t produce any children themselves,” a source told the publication.

If reports are true, Jay-Z will be known as Shawn Knowles-Carter, while Beyonce is to become Beyonce Knowles-Carter.  I'm not really sure how them not having any children of their own will still keep the last name going, but if Jay-Z goes through with this they would definitely be making a strong statement about the balance of power within their relationship.  Jay-Z has become a powerful mogul in a world dominated by machisimo and bravado.  What are your thoughts on the surname conundrum and how it affects the identity of the couple?  Do your opinions change when a couple has children?

Mary J Punches Husband Kendu in the Club

we know you heard about it, here's the raw video of Murry J cracking her husband at the 1:07 mark in the club on Christmas Eve...

"Mary was not fighting with her husband (just smacking him upside the head like all wives do sometimes)," said Blige spokeswoman Karynne Tencer. "Her husband and her brother got into an altercation that turned into a fight (which is not evident in video, which they don't think you'll ever see). Mary went to break up the fight."

Alrightty then, why didn't Murry have her brother thrown out then partied on, Garth?

The Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao fight has gotten even uglier

The Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao match promises to be the largest-grossing boxing match in history, yet it keeps taking one bizarre turn after another.  In the lastest turn, Pacquiao threatened to initiate a libel suit after he accused the Golden Boy Promotions CEO, Richard Schaefer of telling a Filipino journalist that Pacquiao used performance-enhancing drugs.  On Tuesday, Mayweather went so far as to issue a statement demanding “Olympic-style drug testing” administered by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.  Pacquiao said he will not participate in such testing and threatened suit against Mayweather, his father, Schaefer, and Golden Boy Promotions.

We hope you had Mele Kalikimaka just like the Obamas

The United States' first family, the Obamas, spent the Christmas Holidays in Oahu celebrating quietly with their extended family.  President and Mrs. Obama did not exchange gifts this year, according to White House spokesmen.  Instead, they focused the holiday on giving to the children and service to the community.  Mrs. Obama, along with her daughters Malia and Sasha, and the First Dog, Bo, delivered cookies to the Children's National Medical Center earlier this week.  The Obamas celebrated the holidays with the President's sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, and her family and will extend their Hawaiian trip into January.

There is nothing else like Christmas in Hawaii.  If you ever have the opportunity to visit Oahu at the holidays, jump on it.

NBA investigating Gilbert Arenas for storing guns in his locker

Washington Wizards say its guard, Gilbert Arenas, stored unloaded firearms in a container in his locker at the Verizon Center.  The team said the firearms were unloaded and there was no ammunition in the locked container.  Arenas told The Washington Times he took his guns to the Verizon Center after his daughter, Hamiley Penny, was born this month. Approximately a week after her birth, he says he handed the firearms over to team security with a request they turn the guns over to police.  Arenas told the newspaper. “After my daughter was born, I was just like, ‘I don’t need these anymore.”

This is not Arenas' first trouble with firearms.  He was suspended for Washington’s season opener in 2004 because he failed to maintain proper registration of a handgun while living in California in 2003.  The league’s collective bargaining agreement allows for players to legally possess firearms but prohibits them at league facilities or when traveling on any league-related business.

Breaking News: The U.S. Senate has passed its health care reform bill

The U.S. Senate has passed its version of a health care reform bill this morning.  The U.S. House of Representatives has already passed theirs.  Now all that remains is to reconcile the two versions for the final push.  The Senate voted 60-39 along party lines (with Democrats voting for the measure) to pass the controversial bill.  The measure will now go to a conference committee.  Democratic lawmakers hope for President Obama's signature before the State of the Union address in January.  Republican lawmakers contend parts of the bill are unconstitutional and were achieved through backroom buyoffs.  Aren't most political deals negotiated this way?

Michael Jordan sues two grocery stores

Sports legend Michael Jordan has initiated a $10 million lawsuit against two Chicago area grocery stores for using his identity without permission. The two stores, Dominick's Finer Foods and Jewel Food Stores, published ads in a commemorative Sports Illustrated issue, "Jordan: A Hall of Fame Career" that associated his name with congratulatory messages from the stores. Jordan's shoes were used in one ad while his name was listed above a steak in another ad. Apparently he was really burned up about the steak ad given he is an investor in a chain of steakhouses. He seeks $5 million in damages from each store.

Johnny Depp says he didn't base Willy Wonka on MJ

“I was inspired by him because I think he was a great artist but he was not the inspiration for Willy Wonka contrary to what most people say.”  Depp, 46, also denied he was playing Jackson in a film.
“No no no, I never ever thought of playing Michael Jackson in a film, I think if anyone should play Michael Jackson in a film it should’ve been Michael Jackson,” he said.

“A mother and a father have lost a son, siblings have lost a brother and millions of people around the world have lost someone they love,” Depp said of Jackson’s recent passing. “Children have lost a father so it’s obviously a very sad, sad moment.”

I'm lookin for a new face, bay-bay

Jody Watley has released a new disc titled “The Makeover,” which showcases the singer/songwriter’s new interpretations of some familiar hits.

“I don’t say covers,” she clarified, “because covers are generally when and artist is true to the original version, but makeovers are really about stripping it down and really trying to make it your own.”

Pres. Jimmy Carter: "I"m Sorry For (the past 2004 years)"

Former President Jimmy Carter has issued a blanket apology to all Jewish people the world over for any words or deeds that may have upset them.  He said he was offering an Al Het, a prayer said on Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement to signifiy his sincere plea for forgiveness.
"We must not permit criticisms for improvement to stigmatize Israel," Carter said in the letter, which was first sent to JTA, a wire service for Jewish newspapers, and provided Wednesday to The Associated Press. "As I would have noted at Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, but which is appropriate at any time of the year, I offer an Al Het for any words or deeds of mine that may have done so."
President Carter brokered the first Israeli-Arab peace treaty during his presidency.  This was hailed as a major accomplishment in Middle East relations.  He outraged many Jews with his 2006 book "Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid." Many supporters of Israel are against the idea of a Palastinian state and some critics claim he unfairly compared Israeli treatment of Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza to the legalized racial oppression that once existed in South Africa.

Tiger may be expecting a cub

One of Tiger Woods' 17 alleged mistresses, Rachel Uchitel, may be expecting a baby according to Star Magazine.  Rachel has been spotted near Woods' massive yacht, aptly named Privacy, in the Palm Beaches in Florida.  Uchitel denied the claims, telling gossipcop.com a very succinct, "I'm not pregnant."

Off topic:  is that a red sole I spy on those peep toes?  Maybe she can do a re-make of JLo's "classic" Louboutins.

I'm aware of the problem

Some of you have contacted me to let me know Blogger has been eating up comments. Apparently, people are commenting then when they hit publish, the comment disappears even though Blogger says it has been published. I tested it myself this afternoon and the same thing happened. I have NO idea why this is happening. I will check the help forums and get back with you. Thanks for trying to comment and please don't give up.

Jackson 5 "The Christmas Song"

The Jackson 5 Christmas Album

The FBI released its files on Michael Jackson

The FBI finally released its files on Michael Jackson yesterday. I read through the hundreds of pages of microfiche, standard departmental forms, and (poorly) handwritten notes immediately. The bureau redacted literally hundreds of pages and names from the files, and what was released contained no new information for those fans of Michael who followed all his cases. What the files do contain is the bureau's own conclusion that there were "collateral investigative issues NY Miami, Los Angeles divisions." In other words, investigators in local jurisdictions abused their power and overstepped their bounds in an attempt to convict Michael on charges of which he was INNOCENT.
Seven different files were included in the release. The first file details an investigation into death threats MJ received. Frank Paul Jones (his name has been redacted from the reports) first threatened to kill Pres. George H.W. Bush in 1992. He was arrested, then released. A day later, the threatened to kill Michael Jackson and commit mass murder at one of his concerts unless he got money from the singer. Reportedly, he was attempting to get the attention of Michael's sister, Janet, with whom he believed he was married.

Other reports detailed a request to perform forensic analysis of computers seized in a raid of Neverland ranch to look for child pornography and analysis of a VHS tape thought to contain child pornography (it did NOT). The analysis of the VHS tape shed absolutely no light on anything. It was merely a repetitive account of how they came to conclude it may be a 4th generation video tape. There was no real mention of what was on it. The title was salacious, but there is not even any evidence it was MJ's let alone that it contained child pornography.
The forensic computer analysis of 16--count 'em 16!--computers turned up zilch. Pedophiles notoriously love their images and video of children so....take that haters!

The most disturbing report was the one on the report of Terry George, not because of the nature of the allegations, but because anyone took him seriously at the time. Reprinting microfiche of those disgusting tabloid articles along with LaToya's horrible allegations opens up a whole new media barrage. The British paper printed those allegations of an unproven incident that publicity/money-seeker says happened 15 years before. That is not only irresponsible, it is criminal. It really proves what a huge heart and good spirit Michael had to forgive LaToya for all she did to hurt him.

Neverland raiders seized pornography from Michael's home--but it was of the garden variety Playboy and Hustler. Folks, Michael LOVED women. He was a heterosexual male who was very much in touch with his sexuality and oozed sensuality when on stage. There are countless websites devoted to his stage antics and the nature of his...human nature. That is a post for another day!

Breaking News: A U.S. plane has skidded off the runway in Jamaica

An American Airlines flight overshot a runway in Kingston, Jamaica, skidded and crashed into a fence some 10 feet from the ocean late Tuesday night. The accident happened during heavy rains in the area.

Prince William sleeps in an alley with the homeless

Britain's Prince William spent a cold night near Blackfriars Bridge last week with Seyi Obakin, the chief executive of British homeless charity Centrepoint. He spent the night exposed to the elements in order to experience and hilight the plight of Britain's homeless teenagers. William has been the charity's patron since 2005. He was first exposed to homelessness during a trip with his mother to a homeless shelter at the age of 13. At that time, he and his younger brother spent an hour touring the shelter. William's mother, Diana Princess of Wales, was Centrepoint's patron until her untimely death in 1997.

"I cannot, after one night, even begin to imagine what it must be like to sleep rough on London's streets night after night," William said Tuesday. "Poverty, mental illness, drug and alcohol dependancy and family breakdown cause people to become and then stay homeless.
"I hope that by deepening my understanding of the issue, I can help do my bit to help the most vulnerable on our streets."

As you enjoy your holidays surrounded by friends and family in your warm homes, fill your bellies, and rip open presents think of those that have no where to go and nothing to eat. What can you do for them?

Here is the website for Centrepoint in the UK

Mizzou Women's Ballers Do NOT Play

No criminal charges will be filed against the two Missouri women’s basketball players who were accused of assaulting an MU male cheerleader, Boone County prosecutors said Wednesday.

Prosecutors cited varying witness reports and the cheerleader’s decision not to press charges in closing the case against the 'Lady Tiger's' two leading scorers, Amanda Hanneman and Jessra Johnson, who were arrested early last Friday morning on suspicion of third-degree assault.

According to police, Hanneman, Johnson and a female friend had left a bar for Short’s apartment at 36 N. Cedar Lake Drive after celebrating a 49-point win over Texas Pan-Am that night.

Columbia police spokesperson Jessie Haden said a scuffle ensued after Justin Short, a male cheerleader for Missouri’s football and men's basketball teams, called police around 2 a.m. complaining that people would not leave his apartment. Short suffered a broken nose, eye injury and a dislocated shoulder after getting the pom-poms beat out of him by the 6'-1" Johnson and 5'-11" Hanneman. Police said he was taken by ambulance to University Hospital and released around 5 a.m. after he called his mommy. You knew we was gonna dig up Justin's ass too rah,rah,rah...

Act like a lady, think like a man who is looking for his next wife

In addition to serving as a correspondent for Good Morning America, Steve Harvey has been tapped to serve as a relationship columnist for Essence Magazine. His relationship advice book Act Like a Lady, Think Like A Man spent many weeks at the top of the New York Times Bestseller list. All of this is very ironic considering Harvey has been married three times. His second marriage ended in a very messy divorce including claims Harvey denied his wife and son adequate support funds, that he abandoned some of his children, he neglected his son, and allegations he physically abused his ex-wife. It was reported Harvey refused to pay his ex- any more than $1000 a month in child support, and that he attempted to defaud her of her share of the business ventures they undertook together during their 10 year marriage.

Breaking News: That's way harsh Tai!

Actress Brittany Murphy is dead at age 32. The actress was found by her mother collapsed in the shower. When paramedics arrived, they determined she was in full cardiac arrest and began administering CPR. She was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Murphy is best known for her roles in the movies 8 Mile, Girl, Interrupted, and Happy Feet. I think her acting shone through best in her role as Tai in Clueless and as the title character in the obscure film The Ramen Girl.

Maine might require cell phone cancer warnings

Maine is considering legislation making it the first state to require all cell phones carry a cancer warning. Under the proposed bill, manufacturers would be required to place labels on phones and phone packaging warning of the potential for brain cancer. The cancer risk arises from electromagnetic radiation emitted by all cell phones. The warnings would recommend that all users, especially pregnant women and children with developing brains, keep the devices away from their head and body.

UT OH...Lil Wayne detained in Texas after marijuana found on tour buses

Rapper Lil Wayne was detained by U.S. Border Patrol agents in Texas on Friday after authorities found marijuana on two of his tour buses.

The marijuana on the buses was detected by drug dogs, said Agent Joe Trevino. The rapper, whose real name is DeWayne Michael Carter, Jr., was among a dozen being detained from his group.

Trevino said the buses were en route to Laredo, Texas, from a concert stop in Hidalgo state. No drugs were found on Wayne's person ... or anyone else in the entourage and no arrests have been made.

Calls to Carter's representatives were not immediately returned Friday.

The Louisiana native was the 2008 best-selling artist, with 2.8 million records sold, and is signed to Cash Money Records.

The rapper is scheduled to begin a prison sentence in February stemming from gun charges in New York.

John Edwards...YOU ARE THE FATHER...

John Edwards has never admitted to fathering a love child with a one-time staffer, but new legal documents suggest the failed presidential hopeful is the baby's daddy -and may soon have to pay up big-time.

The new documents posted yesterday by radaronline.com detail an ongoing money battle between Edwards and Rielle Hunter, 45, whom Edwards has admitted bedding even as his wife, Elizabeth, discovered she had cancer.

Edwards has never copped to fathering little Frances Quinn Hunter, now almost two years old.

Hunter is seeking more than $17,000 a month from Edwards, a tab that includes some pretty high-end demands, the documents show.

She wants $800 a month for eating out, $400 a month for "club dues and memberships" and $1,200 a month for a security guard - apparently to keep the paparazzi at bay.

She also believes Edwards - who famously paid $400 for a haircut during his presidential run - should pay her $250 a month to trim her and Frances' locks.

The documents emerged at the same time that reports have swirled that Edwards purchased a four-bedroom, $535,000 home for Hunter to live in in Charlotte.

Surprise, Surprise...Tiger's Daddy Cheated too...

Now we know where Tiger learned how to swing.

More than a decade before Woods was outed as a serial philanderer, his beloved father was caught cheating on his mom, the golfer's high school girlfriend told E! News.

The revelation left a teenage Tiger devastated.

"He would just call crying and say, 'My dad is with another woman,' and that would be really all he could say," said Dina Parr, 34.
"He would be so upset, so I just tried to be there for him and listen to him."

This is proof that Tiger, his boy Chuck and Air Whore-dan played 'rent-a-becky' as Sir Charles poses with one of the Tiger 16 (as of today), Jamie Jungers.
