UT OH...Lil Wayne detained in Texas after marijuana found on tour buses

Rapper Lil Wayne was detained by U.S. Border Patrol agents in Texas on Friday after authorities found marijuana on two of his tour buses.

The marijuana on the buses was detected by drug dogs, said Agent Joe Trevino. The rapper, whose real name is DeWayne Michael Carter, Jr., was among a dozen being detained from his group.

Trevino said the buses were en route to Laredo, Texas, from a concert stop in Hidalgo state. No drugs were found on Wayne's person ... or anyone else in the entourage and no arrests have been made.

Calls to Carter's representatives were not immediately returned Friday.

The Louisiana native was the 2008 best-selling artist, with 2.8 million records sold, and is signed to Cash Money Records.

The rapper is scheduled to begin a prison sentence in February stemming from gun charges in New York.

By now, you know this is baby girl Shaniya Davis, who was kidnapped, raped and murdered after being reported missing November 10. You know what happened. Her body was found six days later on a roadside about 30 miles from her hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Her funeral was last Sunday and that's all I got to say about that. Google if you don't know.

The only reason we mention it is basketball star Shaquille O’Neal saw the story on Nancy Grace and graciously picked up all the expenses for her funeral.

Why Didn't Soulja Boy Shoot His New Video Here?

Atlanta rapper DeAndre Cortez Way, better known by his stage name Soulja Boy Tell 'Em or just Soulja Boy, was charged with obstruction after running from police despite an order to stop, a police spokesman said Friday.

The 19-year-old singer was among a large group that had gathered at a home in Stockbridge, 20 miles south of Atlanta, said Henry County, Georgia, police Capt. Jason Bolton.

Way was arrested Wednesday night along with another man, Bolton said. Police said Way left jail Thursday after posting a $550 bond.

They should have shot the video at the Georgia Peach Oyster Bar...check the local CBS station footage....
