Same $h*t Different Day
Police are seeking Naomi Campbell in connection with an incident where she allegedly assaulted a driver with a cell phone...now, I love Naomi in all her bad girl glory. I'm going to tell you, by now people should already know what they are going to get with her. I tend to think people try to provoke her anger so they can get that big pay day they just know is coming. Heck, I've got bills due!
Lil Wayne finally went to jail on Monday. My local nightly news even showed the footage. I haven't decided if it was just a slow news day or if the sight of ABM going to jail excited them.

O.J. tried to do a good deed and got shut down
O.J. Simpson agreed, with the court's permission, to donate the suit he wore to his murder trial to the Smithsonian Institution; the Smithsonian, in turn, said "thanks, but no thanks."

Now, his teeth have been messed up all this time...
A Manhattan judge granted a request by Lil Wayne's attorney to postpone his sentencing on gun charges so he could travel to Florida to have dental work done. Wayne has previously plead guilty to felony gun charges stemming from his arrest outside a night club in 2007 on possession of a 0.40 caliber pistol. His sentencing has been pushed back to March 2nd. He still faces felony drug possession and gun charges in Arizon in an unrelated case.

Ex-NBA Star Jayson Williams Cops A Plea

Retired NBA star Jayson Williams has cut a plea deal that would send him to prison for up to three years for accidentally shooting a driver at his New Jersey estate in 2002, a person with knowledge of the case told The Associated Press on Thursday.
Williams, who retired in 2000 after playing nine seasons in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Nets, was to face a retrial in January on a reckless manslaughter count.
The person, who not authorized to speak about the case, told the AP on condition of anonymity that Williams is to plead guilty to aggravated assault on Friday. Because a gun was used in the crime, Williams must serve at least 18 months in prison, the person said.
The plea deal would resolve all charges in the case that dragged out for nearly eight years.
Witnesses testified that while showing off a shotgun in his bedroom, Williams snapped the weapon shut and it fired one shot that struck driver Costas Christofi in the chest, killing him. They also testified that Williams initially placed the gun in the dead man's hands and instructed those present in the bedroom to lie about what happened. Williams has since settled with the Christofi family in the civil lawsuit associated with the case.
The defense has maintained the shooting was an accident and that Williams panicked afterward.

Rev. Al Sharpton's women were arrested
According to the New York Post, Rev. Al Sharpton's ex-wife and daughter were arrested Friday night after an alleged road rage incident. According to police, Kathy Jordan, 53, and her daughter, Dominique Sharpton, 23, were placed handcuffed and taken to a police precinct where they were issued desk-appearance tickets and released; they were stopped after his daughter got tired of trailing behind a slow-moving un-marked police car. Allegedly, she honked her horn, tailgated the vehicle, and eventually illegally passed the car in a no-passing zone while running a red light. Sharpton and Jordan also allegedly tried to use the Reverend's name to get out of the charges. There will undoubtedly be much more revealed about this developing story in time.Monday, October 26, 2009
You already know by now
Weezy plead guilty to an attempted weapons possession charge Thursday stemming from a 2007 incident during which officers found a loaded 0.40 caliber semi-automatic loaded gun in his tour bus in Manhattan. By pleading out, Lil Wayne received one year in jail as opposed to his expected three and a half year bid if convicted under his not-guilty plea. He still faces charges from last year in Arizona on felony drug possession and weapons charges after border patrol officials found four ounces of marijuana,an ounce of coke, 41 grams of Ecstasy, and a 0.40-caliber pistol on his tour bus.

Weezy Books a Room on Rikers?

When Lil Wayne took the stage for his first major New York gig in July 2007, the rapper was on the cusp of greatness. But the night ended with a trip to jail after he was arrested on a gun charge after a police search of his tour bus detected a 40 caliber pistol. Two years later, thanks to DNA evidence reportedly linking him to the weapon, Wayne could be on the verge of cutting a plea deal that would send him to prison for eight months.
It is thought that authorities will drop criminal weapons possession (Plaxico) charges in return for the guilty plea on a lesser charge. AllHipHop.com claims the guilty plea could come as early as today and would have Wayne beginning his bid in February.

Plaxico was all tears today
Ex-New York Giant Plaxico Burress was all tears today as he told his family goodbye in the courtroom. Plaxico was sentenced to 2 years in prison for accidentally shooting himself in the thigh in a nightclub. Plaxico had been facing two charges of weapons possession and reckless endangerment for a minimum of 3 1/2 years behind bars. He plead out to the lesser charge and agreed to do two years in prison plus two years of probation. The footballer who caught the winning touchdown in the final minute of the 2008 Superbowl will likely only do 20 months with time off for good behavior.

Chris Brown Sentenced

A Los Angeles judge says Chris Brown must serve five years of probation and perform six months of community labor for beating Rihanna.
The 20-year-old appeared in court Tuesday afternoon to be formally sentenced for the February attack on his then-girlfriend.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg said in the sentencing she wants to see Brown do "actual physical labor, as opposed to some type of community service." This means Brown has to do tasks such as graffiti removal, washing cars, cleaning and maintaining grounds and garbage pickup. The chief of police in Richmond, Virginia, wrote a letter to the judge stating that he would make sure Brown is keeping up with his community labor. Brown must also complete domestic violence counseling. He should call Naomi Campbell to get some tips on that community service.
A probation report was also obtained for Brown that says he and Rihanna were involved in at least two other domestic violence incidents before the February attack for which Brown was sentenced.
Brown's sentence will be served in his home state of Virginia. He will have to return to Los Angeles frequently to update a judge on his progress.

What ever happened to Ambien or Tylenol PM?

Michael Jackson's doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, is seriously facing manslaughter charges and the L.A. coroner has officially ruled Michael's death a homicide. It is important to note this designation of homicide means a death occurred at the hands of another, thus it includes manslaughter and criminal negligence.
According to reports, the night before Michael passed, Murray tried to put him to sleep by administering the benzodiazepines lorazepam and midazolam. Then around 1:30 a.m. on June 25, he gave him a 10 mg tab of Valium. He then injected 2 mg of lorazepam around 2 a.m., 2 mg of midazolam around 3 a.m., and repeats of each at 5 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., respectively.
Dr. Murray told detectives they did not work and around 10:40 a.m. he gave in to Jackson's "repeated demands/requests" for propofol, which Michael had nicknamed his "milk." Dr. Murray administered 25 mg of propofol which finally put Michael to sleep...forever.
Dr. Murray says he stayed Michael for 10 minutes before he went to the bathroom. According to him, when he returned 2 minutes later Michael had stopped breathing.According to police analysis of phone records, Dr. Murray was on the phone with three separate callers for 47 minutes between the time he said Michael stopped breathing and paramedics were called. I think it goes without saying it is doubtful he was administering CPR while simultaneously holding these conversations. In addition, according to investigators, Dr. Murray withheld that he gave Michael Propofol from paramedics and hospital personnel when Michael was rushed to UCLA medical center in cardiac arrest. Dr. Murray also denied purchasing any of the drug though pharmacy records contradict his account. I have to say, if all this happened before 11am why did it take so long for him to come downstairs and tell someone to call 911? Why did he go get a 12 year-old in the emergency? Why call Joe Jackson in another state before calling 911? If he couldn't find a phone to call 911 how could he have been on his cell phone for 47 minutes before calling anyone?
Dirk Nowitzki's ex Gets Five Years...

A former girlfriend of Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki was sentenced Monday to five years in prison for violating probation in St. Charles,Mo.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Cristal Taylor admitted in court on Monday that she failed to check in with her probation officer in a 12-year-old forgery and theft case. She also acknowledged being arrested twice in Texas in 2000 for misdemeanors.
The 38-year-old St. Louis-area native has said she planned to marry Nowitzki and was pregnant with his child. A Texas judge last month ordered Taylor to undergo a paternity test to determine the father, and Nowitzki is seeking sole custody of the child.
Taylor was arrested on May 6 at Nowitzki's home in Dallas on a 2006 theft of services charge in Jefferson County involving dental work.
She pleaded guilty in 1999 in Missouri to two counts of forgery and two counts of felony stealing and was placed on probation.
St. Charles County Circuit Judge Nancy Schneider on Monday ordered her to serve a concurrent five-year prison sentence for three felonies and a misdemeanor, the clerk's office said.
Taylor was given credit for one year of probation, which means she will serve four years. Her attorney told the Post-Dispatch that she also will receive credit for more than 100 days she spent in jail waiting for trial in her current case.
Taylor's attorney, Matthew Fry, declined to comment about the case to The Associated Press.
