Ex-New York Giant Plaxico Burress was all tears today as he told his family goodbye in the courtroom. Plaxico was sentenced to 2 years in prison for accidentally shooting himself in the thigh in a nightclub. Plaxico had been facing two charges of weapons possession and reckless endangerment for a minimum of 3 1/2 years behind bars. He plead out to the lesser charge and agreed to do two years in prison plus two years of probation. The footballer who caught the winning touchdown in the final minute of the 2008 Superbowl will likely only do 20 months with time off for good behavior.
