Diddy saves the day...

Boxer Floyd Mayweather and rapper Rick Ross finally ran into each other recently, while in Las Vegas partying over the weekend, after numerous jabs back and forth in the media.

According to TMZ, the two stars were close to throwing fists, but Diddy stepped in to save the day. The incident took place at Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel during the opening of Vanity nightclub, which Diddy hosted.

Mayweather reportedly hit the party to support Diddy, when he literally ran into Ross. Source told TMZ that both men "bumped" into one another, with their entourages in tow, all of whom became instantly "confrontational."

But, before anything could even pop off, Diddy stepped in to intervene, calming both crews down. Both Mayweather and Ross eventually headed into the event, and partied the rest of the evening without incident.

Rick Ross Robbed by Groupies....Caught on tape

Apparently, some smooth criminals got all dolled up made their way to Rick Ross and his crew’s hotel room at the Hilton in downtown Nashville after a performance to get their proverbial groupie on. The four sticky-fingered women then proceeded to do their best “Set It Off” impersonation, without the guns and violence, by relieving Ricky of over $60,000 worth of his personal belongs including jewelry and a laptop.

Of course, the getaway wasn't clean, and the suspects were caught on the hotel's candid camera. They better hope Crime Stoppers finds them before the Boss and his crew.

Don Diva Magazine Head Shot and Killed

Miami journalist and President of Don Diva magazine, Samuel Ferguson, was shot and killed on Friday, Aug. 14, while driving on the Florida Turnpike.

According to police, Ferguson was heading north on the highway in his maroon 2001 Chevrolet Impala, when a black four-door car carrying several passengers pulled alongside him and fired several shots, causing him to crash into the concrete divider. Ferguson was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 47.

Ferguson was hired at Don Diva nine months ago, in an effort to strengthen the magazine's Florida readership. He was also known as Samuel Silvasteen and "P Man" Sam, and was considered by many to have been a Miami rap pioneer. He was involved in Miami’s rap scene before 2 Live Crew put it on the map. He also had a long history of arrests for weapons and battery, and spent several years in prison on a drug charge in the '80s.

Ferguson was embroiled in a heated controversy last October, when rapper Rick Ross was exposed as having once been a correctional officer, and blamed Ferguson, whom he'd known prior to his hiring at Don Diva, saying "Ferguson is a liar, he's an informant, he's a rat, he's a b----...get at me in the streets n---- you know how we play. This s--- about to get deeper than rap."

Don Diva's Editor-in-Chief, Tiffany Chiles, claimed that Ferguson was attempting to use his position at the magazine to distance himself from his criminal past. "We are deeply saddened by this tragic and senseless incident," Chiles added. "Sam was not just the president of Don Diva South, he was a family friend for over 20 years. Sam was our brother. He was well respected and loved my many. He will be missed."

Rick Ross Customized not Counterfeit

Rick Ross claims his Louis Vuitton sunglasses were customized not counterfeit as claimed by an LV rep in a letter to the editors at XXL magazine. Rick says he had the shades tricked out by Jack Bernstein, a.k.a. the Sunglass Pimp in Los Angeles. Ross likens the customization to pimping out a ride.

Rick Ross apparently loves bootleg merchandise

According to Taz Arnold, Rick Ross is rocking bootleg merchandise. Taz' new video sports a ticker across the bottom accusing Ross of running up a $13,000 order with TI$A, then defaulting on it. Taz says Officer Ricky then turned around and sported a bootleg blue MCM riders jacket on his 50 cent diss video "Kiss My Pinky Ring Curly."

Rick is definitely making changes for the recession. He was recently put on blast for wearing counterfeit Louis Vuitton glasses for his XXL cover. Louis Vuitton reps supposedly sent this letter to the editors of XXL:

Dear Editor:

We were dismayed to see the cover of the May 2009 issue of XXL Magazine, which features a photo of Rick Ross wearing a pair of sunglasses prominently featuring counterfeit Louis Vuitton trademarks. Because the photo has generated considerable confusion among your readers and Louis Vuitton customers among others, we feel it is important to clarify several points. The first is that the sunglasses Mr. Ross is wearing were not made by Louis Vuitton, and in fact, are counterfeit. Louis Vuitton did not grant permission to Mr. Ross or to whoever did make the sunglasses to use our trademarks. The second is that no affiliation, sponsorship or association exists between Rick Ross or XXL and Louis Vuitton. The third is that counterfeiting is illegal.Thank you for giving us the opportunity to correct the confusion.

Sincerely,

Michael D. Pantalony, Esq. Louis Vuitton Malletier

Trick Daddy Says Rick Ross Is A 'Kid' Who Needs Discipline

“I got new rules. I'm going back to the old ass-whoopin' days," Trick Daddy proclaimed Wednesday (May 6). "I'm gonna start beating my kid's ass."
Trick loves the kids but this "kid" is overgrown Rick Ross. Trick said Ross' disrespect has gone far enough on Angela Yee's Shade 45 satellite-radio show.
"I'd like to apologize for my kid's misbehaving in class. ... I let Ross start eating table food too fast," Trick joked. "When you don't raise your kids, they will throw their hands up at you."
T-Double-D said he supported Ross, so he was taken aback by Ross' recent comments about him on the now-infamous "Valley of Death" from Deeper Than Rap. Trick was offended when Ross dissed his trustworthiness on BET.
"I was a big Ross fan," Trick told Yee. "If you check all my interviews, the Web, radio, I never dissed him ... I supported him." Rick even had the balls to call up Trick to tell him he would be talking greasy and taking shots at him in public.
"I said, 'What? Taking shots? While you're taking shots, what the f--- you think I'm gonna do?' "
This beef comes at an opportune time for Trick. He has the lead single on the just-released “Next Day Air” soundtrack and he’s coming out with his next LP, Finally Famous this summer. Trick Daddy, who recently revealed his struggle with lupus, is planning to release his autobiography Magic City: Trials of a Native Son in August.

Foxy Doesn't Look That Damn Bad These Days

Rick Ross is so obsessed with his collection of designer sunglasses he always wears a pair during sex. The Hustlin’ star was inspired by late rapper Notorious B.I.G. to customise his growing collection of shades, costing up to $2250 (Gbp1500) each.
And he’s become so attached to the diamond-encrusted eyewear it’s often the only item he’ll keep on when stripping down for a steamy session of love-making. Rick Ross says “I’ve had sex in my shades, sometimes I wear my clear ones. A lot of ladies compliment my eyelashes so I don’t want people to see them, I’m shy, so wear my shades all the time. I never told nobody that before.”

Don’t these negroes know this is a recession? Shoot! Foxy’s laying right there. She knows from being broke, believe me. And recently, too.
