Michael Jordan is a law breaker

Michael Jordan caused an uproar in San Francisco at the President's Cup golf tournament when pictures were published of him smoking a cigar. Jordan, the honorary assistant captain for the United States team, lit the stogie during a practice round. When the San Francisco Chronicle published pictures of him smoking on the public golf course, their readers went wild. City officials have requested the PGA Tour to remind Jordan of the no-smoking law.

What recession? Michael Jordan has plans to build a megamansion in the town of Jupiter, Florida. The plans for his 37,942-square-foot two-story home have already been approved. Beyonce's PR machine works overtime and Kanye apologized again

For those who insisted Beyonce does not have a PR machine working 24/7/365 behind the scenes, TMZ is reporting Papa Knowles approached Taylor Swift practically the moment she arrived from the subway set to see if she wanted a new manager if she was okay. They discussed ways to make things right and finally settled on Beyonce giving up part of her acceptance time if she won. I'm certain he saw this as an opportunity to make Beyonce look like a class act as well as issue reparations to Taylor. It was a win-win situation and a shrewd business move. He ain't the boss for nothing. By the way, Dreamgirls--starring Beyonce--aired last night, but I'm sure you knew that with all the Beyonce talk of late.

Oh and Kanye issued yet another apology. Like it makes a difference.

"I feel like Ben Stiller in "Meet the Parents" when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave... That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry."

Donald Trump, himself no stranger to mediawhoring, called for a boycott of Kanye and his moneymaking ventures. He also called Kanye on the carpet for his faux-Staning for Beyonce. "He couldn't care less about Beyonce. It was grandstanding to get attention."

Show of Hands....

How many of you asked your white girlfriend Susan to go see "All About Steve" at the movies this weekend and she was REALLY surprised when the movie started and everybody talked from the previews all the way to the end of the film (and the only other white people there were the ushers), how many of you took the kids to see UP for the fourth time and told them-no you ain't seein that again you'll be alone in theatre number 8, how many of you ladies had to pay off a bribe of a case Corona's, a liter and a half of Jack Daniels, 4 pizzas, a bucket of hot wangs, order NFL Ticket, and take the kids to the movies AGAIN so your man and his boys so the could watch the game on Sunday at your crib because he reluctantly took you to the movies on Saturday night, how many of you know a fine ass sista' named Frankie who goes to Spelman who swears she was an extra in this flick....

What I'm tryin' to say is Taylor Perry's, 'I Can Do Bad All By Myself' topped the boxoffice this weekend with a $24 million take. Five of the eight films of Mr. Perry's which usually open when there are slim or no new pickins at theatres have opened at number one.

Williams Sisters Buy Stake In Miami Dolphins

Tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams will be announced next week as Miami Dolphins limited ownership partners, a person familiar with the deal said.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross indicated Monday that three limited partners would be announced next Tuesday and at least one would be African-American. Ross also has said he wants the ownership group to reflect South Florida's diversity. Ross has brought in Hispanic music personalities Emilio and Gloria Estefan, Marc Anthony and Ricky Ricardo as limited partners this summer.

The Williams sisters, who were raised in Compton, Calif., but live in Palm Beach Gardens, have won a combined 18 Grand Slam tennis titles and would be the Dolphins' first African-American ownership partners.
