Breaking News: Michael Is Generous Even In Death
Michael Jackson arranged through his will to return the rights of the Beatles catalogue back to Paul McCartney. Michael owned the entire catalogue and sold 50% of the rights to Sony. He and Paul had a very public falling out over this even though Michael gained the catalogue through fair means. McCartney and some Beatles fans decried Michael's licensing of some Beatles songs for commercials and other uses.

Breaking News: Chris Brown Copped A Plea

Those damn cell phones!
Breaking News: Our sources in L.A. have informed us Chris Brown just reached a plea deal with prosecutors. Under the terms of the agreement, Chris plead guilty to one count of assault with the intent to perform great bodily injury and will serve 5 years probation, undergo domestic violence counseling, and perform 180 days of community service. He also has the option to do 180 day in jail instead. (Why on Earth would he choose that option?)Rihanna appeared briefly after Brown left the court room to hear the judge issue a 100 yd stay away order for Chris Brown. Through her attorneys, Rihanna had asked such an order of protection NOT be issued. The judge reduced the order to 50 yds and 10 yds if they were at the same public event. The judge would consider lifting the order after Chris completes his domestic violence counseling. Rihanna still has another order of protection in place which she considered sufficient. The judge warned her not to contact Chris.
Rihanna did not call police herself, nor did she press charges or seem to enthusiastically cooperate with police, however her attorneys have said she is satisfied with the plea deal.

Breaking News: Dante Stallworth has reached a settlement

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Dante Stallworth has reached a settlement with the family of Mario Reyes, the man he struck and killed while driving under the influence. Stallworth struck Reyes with his Bentley as he was crossing the causeway early one March morning as the ballplayer returned from a night out in Miami Beach. Stallworth's blood alcohol level measured 0.126, well above Florida's legal limit of 0.08. Stallworth plead guilty just minutes ago to DUI manslaughter. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 10 years probation, and 1000 hours of community service. The amount of the settlement is confidential.
Edit: My guest contributor was a little overzealous with the note about credit. Let's just say we got the scoop on everyone including the AP.
