Robert Johnson opens a resort in Liberia
BET founder and billionaire Robert Johnson just opened a 4-star, $30 million (that's all?) resort in Monrovia, Liberia. Liberia also boasts one of the two female African heads of state, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
All these rappers on BET should take note. This is a real boss right here. They will never know his level of money running around tricking and shooting each other.
Good for him spreading the wealth around. There are plenty of people black and white visiting Africa who would love to go to a nice resort like this. He is employing locals, etc. This is a good thing.
i know that liberia can use all of the support that i can get, but when i think of vacation spots that i'd like to visit in africa, liberia isn't on the list. dude must be getting major governement kickbacks for this one.

This looks like a nice place. Too bad the average Liberian can't even afford to look at it when they pass by.

ReplyDeleteIf the resort is worth $30 million he probably had to spend another $30 million on bribes.
