Reportedly, the little sit down her Precious director had little lasting effect. Mariah is back to being a diva in full effect demanding six-figure compensation for her hair and make-up staff in addition to her regular appearance, travel, and expense fees. She travels with a huge entourage including a crack security team. Her security team is required to make daily 'sweeps' of the performance venue in the days leading up to her appearances with the 'sweeps' and 'intelligence-gathering' reaching a fever pitch the day of her arrival. Reportedly, she also demands the venue remove its employees and restrict backstage entry to her own personnel. If these rumors are true, she is no angel, imperfect or otherwise. Bring back humble Mariah!

ReplyDeleteI don't blame her for being security conscious in this day and age. I can also understand her wanting her people backstage. Maybe it is just the way her team is going about making the requests. Maybe they need to be nicer.
