Jamie does Robert Downey Jr. a solid for appearing in 'The Soloist' (on DVD for sometime now) and signed on as Downey's best friend for "Due Date," a road-trip comedy also starring Zach Galifianakis (don't ask me), according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film finds Downey trying to get home in time to witness his wife give birth.
Foxx's role promises to be juicy, unbeknownst to Downey's character, his best friend and wife (Michelle Monaghan) dated in college. Will there be a surprise in the delivery room?
They are both good actors.
