Latifah, Aretha, and Tina ain't the only queens

Kelly Price, Tamia, and Deborah Cox are collaborating on a project called "The Queen Project."
“I’m so excited to work with these ladies because I’m a fan first,” Tamia gushed. “It is fun and we have a really good time together. There’s something special here musically and we have a genuine bond.”

  1. This should be pretty good. It's about time some real music came out. (side eye at Cassie Rihanna and the rest)

  3. I can't believe how much weight kelly price lost, but she looks healthy and not sick. I look forward to this collaboration. Everything is so homogenized now and all sounds the same. About time we got some fresh grown-folks music. I miss true R&B. I wish Sade would come out of hiatus and bring it.

  4. I am looking forward to this too. All three of them can really sing. No engineering or autotune necessary. It has been a long time since a real singer has put out anything in the industry. The ladies that can sing like Estelle and Adele and Ledisi don't get any love from the industry. They don't get promoted because they aren't drop dead gorgeous.
