African Amercans are hardly the only ones with a color complex



There is a resurgence in skin bleaching in India. Some are calling this commercial racist. What do you think: would it fly in the U.S.?

    WWWWOOOOWWWW, I DIDN'T EXPECT THAT ONE! THAT'S REALLY SAD WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT. IT'S 2009, AND NOTHING IS LETTING UP. WHY DO PEOPLE HATE BROWN SKIN SO MUCH?

    This has been going on for a long time. Many Bollywood celebrities lighten their skin. The Japanese also bleach their skin as well. It's ashame that fair skin is considered a sign of beauty and status. I was reading that when Beyonce goes to asia she lightens her skin even more with makeup, so she will be more revered [idolized & adored].
