Black Eyed Peas front man will.i.am and gossip monger Perez Hilton reportedly got into a heated confrontation this past weekend outside a Toronto after party. The video shows Perez unleashing a verbal tirade at will.i.am and his manager as he was backed up by a mob. At the end of the tirade, he calls will.i.am a "fu$%ing fa&&ot!" A melee ensues during which Perez got punched in the face. Perez claims will hit him, but will denies it. According to Perez, the whole thing started when he got into an argument with will's bandmate Fergie over posting nasty stuff about her and the band; will came over later to demand he stop posting his garbage. Of course, Perez posted an emotionally wrought video on his website calling will.i.am a "coward and a disgusting human being for lying" and added "I don't need to respect you, and you're a f-g. You're gay, and stop being such a f----t." That last bit caught the attention of GLAAD the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
Now the real question is, if an openly gay blogger who, incidentally, went after a certain beauty contestant for honestly answering his provacative and controversial question, calls another man an anti-gay slur, does that make him a hypocrite or just an asshole?
