According to The Miami Herald, on the night of May 4th, aspiring Miami rapper Dollar Bill was shot and killed by police after a standoff in the attic of a home in Miami Gardens.
According to police, Anthony “Dollar Bill” Levy barricaded himself in the attic of the home with ammunition and a bulletproof. A special response team responded to the scene of the standoff; Levy was shot and killed when he attempted to stab one of the officers. Uncomfirmed reports state Levy was armed at the time of the shooting.
''These bad guys need to understand they need to comply,'' John Rivera, president of Miami-Dade's Police Union told The Miami Herald. "They can't be making threatening moves toward police officers.''
Before his death, Levy was wanted on several charges including aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm on school property.
Levy’s mother told The Miami Herald that he was an up and coming rapper who was trying to get his life together and that he was working on music in his studio when police had arrived.
''He's a rapper, but he's not a bad boy the way they say,” Levy’s mother Marie Ascencio explained to the Herald.
The crime scene is currently being investigated by Miami Gardens Police and Miami-Dade Police.

This is a different guy right? Why are all these black men dying? What is really going on? It sounds like he brought this upon himself.
ReplyDeleteThose tatoo tears DO symbolize the life of someone he took away?
ReplyDeleteHow silly of him to barricade himself and to think he could take on a whole squadron. I'm smh @ his mom saying he's a good boy. Lady, you didn't raise no good boy.
