Natalie Cole underwent a kidney transplant at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday. According to her PR rep the surgery went off without any complications. Cole has suffered from kidney failure after being diagnosed with Hepatitis C a year ago. She has been on dialysis three times a week since September. The singer has cancelled her summer concerts to comply with the mandatory 3-4 month recuperation period.
Congratulations to her. I wish her a long and healthy life.
