Blame it on the alcohol: Jamie Foxx will NOT play Frank Sinatra
Tabloids on both sides of the pond have begun reporting Jamie Foxx will play Frank Sinatra in an upcoming biopic. The Daily Express, Telegraph, the Daily Beast, and The Gossip Jacker have all been reporting Foxx was chosen due to his stellar performance in Ray and his natural acting abilities.
According to the Gawker, all these reports stem from a joke they made on their website last week that was picked up and reported as fact.
Oh well, Jamie. You have a #1 song. You can't have everything. (He IS a spitting image of Frank isn't he?)

It would have been something to see him TRY to be Sinatra.
ReplyDeleteThat was crazy to even consider him. Acting can only do so much. He's talking about playing a real person not a character.
ReplyDeletehis new track "I Don't Need It" is actually quite good....he also did quite well in the one role he played a "real person" (Ray Charles)...butt Frank Sinatra?! nope....
ReplyDeleteLol, who would believed such hogwash. I mean really, dude would have to wear a lot of make up.

I believe if you are going to play a person you should at least be the same race.
ReplyDeleteThis would have been...awkward to say the least. I'm glad this wasn't true. I really didn't want to see him make a complete fool of himself.
ReplyDeleteWho dumb idea was this anyway? Jamie can sing but not like Frank and he's not white!
