The Real Housewives still won't get rich

NBC is planning to syndicate all of its Real Housewives franchises in the Fall of 2010, but it won't benefit the ladies of the ATL. Their contract stipulates they are on a reality show as opposed to scripted programming and thus cannot receive royalties from any episodes in syndication.

  1. Too bad for them. I love how some of them brag about being so money savvy and such great business women all while their homes go into foreclosure and they get screwed out of money.

  2. They should get decent actors. We all know those "reality" shows are scripted. They should sue or all go on strike. They are the highest rated show on Bravo. They have power.

  3. I never could understand the popularity of this real housewives crappola. Just like Kennedy said, it is all scripted just like most reality shows and these women are paid & encouraged to serve up as much drama as possible. I blame Jerry Springer for making this f*ckery entertainment, that people are now hooked on. If folks ain't sleepin w/each other, backstabbin, having family drama, fighting etc....folks don't wanna watch it and it gets 86'd.

  4. I heard that's why they got rid of that good sista Snowe's wife. She had her shit together and wasn't down with all the drama so they booted her. Now all they got on there is dysfunction and bullshit. I watch every now and then just to see that footballer's wife Lisa. Boy I would love to get her in the pool just once or twice. As long as she don't talk. I can't stand to hear her talk. She's way too bossy and annoying.
