In the days before their deaths, Sahel Kazemi asked Steve McNair for $2,000 to cover bills and assurances that they would be together. Metro police on Monday released a summary report of the investigation into the former Tennessee Titans quarterback's murder that includes text messages and other details about the final hours of their lives.
Chris Wall, who provided security for McNair's family, told investigators that McNair had gotten increasingly annoyed over his relationship with Kazemi. She often called him when he was with his wife and children, according to Wall, and he was getting tired of it. He had slowed down the relationship and was seeing her less often, Wall said.
Investigators concluded that Kazemi, 20, was drowning in debt and despondent over realizations that McNair was dating other women and wasn't going to leave his wife for her.
A CBS report states that Kazemi had more than $2,500 in the bank, contradicting the police explanation that Kazemi was distraught over money and the unraveling relationship. But text messages between the two suggest that $2,000 of that money came from McNair on the evening before his murder.
Police released the report but as always, wouldn't comment on it. Here is the Tennessean.com account of the report.

ReplyDeletewell obviously she was crazy but she got played a fool when she realized she was just one among many, poor nut job probably thought she was special, you know how females be thinking their better than the wife or woman getting cheated on so reality smacked her in the face real hard. and steve was a sucker,a low down dirty dog, but he wasn't a cold hearted man, cold hearted men don't pay your bills so if he at least was helping her with income why couldn't she just spare the man's life. she not only took a husband but a father, a brother, an uncle, a friend. people are so evil
ReplyDeleteI think his wife knew she just stayed for the money and the kids like shaq wife and AI's too they no about the other chicks and just decide to stay because of the money.
ReplyDeleteYeah but you reap what you sow. He was out there doing dirt so now he's resting under dirt. There are no words for Kazemi. Mechelle should sue their family. I bet they have money.
ReplyDeleteI don't like talking ill of the dead, but people like McNair are really narcissistic and emotionally unavailable. Ultra charming & master manipulators they love the chase, need their ego stroked continually and must have their narcissistic supply. They have no conscience & don't care about the consequences...all that matters is that they get what they want. They string you along, giving you crumbs so you stay devoted whilst cheating on you with 40 others. When they tire of you, they shut you out and Kazemi knew it was coming. She lost her damn mind, filled with anxiety and totally snapped. I don't even know why McNair got married, but maybe it was all part of the image he wanted to portray. His wife knew, but got resigned to his cheating ways. This story is so sad and left so much destruction.
