A few weeks ago, I told Uncle Russ that I do not want to “waste my celebrity,” as my celebrity is a gift to me, my family and the world…not only for me to get ahead, but for others as well. So, I am happy to announce that I have officially signed to the Ford Agency and I am moving to NY to pursue my modeling and acting careers! I am going to be taking acting classes in NY and will pursue the dreams that I have had my entire life. Today, I feel really blessed. I can actually look @ this contract and know that I have made some progress. Proof that when you work hard, good things do happen. I know it is just a piece of paper, but to me that contract represents millions of opportunities that are now before me. Again, it is not just to help me, but so I can make a greater impact around the world. The world is only what you make it…so when you have great opportunities, use them and make your dreams come true!

A lot of people talking about what I twittered the other night…so I want to address it, now that I have had some time to do some thinking. At 18 years, having grown up in the Mississippi Delta, I never thought my life would take me to where I am now. All I wanted to do was make music. All I thought I loved was music. I would die for that motherfukcin music. But, once I got a record deal and all these people around me trying to tell me who to be, what to do and how to do it, I realized that I wasn’t making music any more for the love. I got into this weird place where I began making music for the money. And I was making a lot of money…more money than I could ever imagine. And with that money, of course, I could buy a lot of things…but to be honest, you can only drive that brand new phantom around the corner oh so many times… and when you are done driving, it really don’t mean shit. I thought money was gonna bring me happiness. And that is the farthest thing from the truth. Money fukcs you up.
I know I might sound crazy, because a lot of you who are reading are probably like, I wish I had this nicca’s money. But, the truth is that money got me twisted. All I want to do is go back to making music for the love of it. The accolades and the awards are for everyone else. The music is for me. The music is my happiness. So, of course I am struggling in my mind right now…cause I wanna get back to place where I woke up, thinking about what I was gonna write that day. Where I went to sleep ready to dream about what I was gonna write the next day.

This is complete bull...

Michael Jackson's Memorial Will be Olympian

LAPD is gearing up for tomorrow's memorial to Michael Jackson at the same level they did for the 1984 Olympics. The city has reached out to the Jackson family for assistance in defraying the cost of holding the memorial for almost 18,000 fans, stars, and members of the media.

Debbie Rowe has confirmed for the VIP section of Michael Jackson's memorial service tomorrow at the Staples Center. I am now taking wagers on how long she'll be booed by the crowd.

One person who won't be at the service will be Jackson himself who will be likely laid to rest quietly today at Forest Lawn Cemetery. NBC joins ABC, CNN, MSNBC and E! Entertainment in offering the ceremony live at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning (1 p.m. est).

The press, especially in his hometown of Nashville, is painting Steve McNair's affair with a rose-colored brush. There has been far more attention paid to his mistress than to his wife and children or even himself. The media is obsessed with this golddigger. Shahel Kazemi's family has come forth to say they were hesitant about the affair because of their age difference and because he was a married man. Her niece (who is older than she is) has said Kazemi made McNair wait to date until he said he was leaving his wife and kids. The family maintains she was too sweet and loving to have committed these murders and insist the killer was a third person.

Here is what we know so far:

Reportedly Kazemi moved to Nashville with another boyfriend when she was around 15 or 16.

She knew he was married and went on numerous vacations with him.

There is no record of a divorce filing in McNair's county of residence.

Reports say McNair is not the first older man she has been involved with.

McNair allowed her to use his Bentley and eventually bought her an Escalade; the same Escalade was impounded as evidence after the murders

-Kazemi had weapons training, was very familiar with firearms, and knew there was a gun in the condo.
-She thought she and McNair were getting married after he divorced his wife and left his 4 children.

-Her family claims she waited to date McNair until he indicated he was divorcing his wife. (Do you really believe this?)
-He bought her a Cadillac Escalade after he got tired of her driving around in his Bentley. (I wonder what his wife had to say about the missing Bentley?)
-McNair took his JO to Key West, Hawaii, California, Las Vegas, and his family farm in Mississippi.
-Kazemi was a 19-year old waitress when he met her. shades of Kobe
-Her family says they did not approve of the relationship because of his race her age.
-Unconfirmed reports claim a white woman approached McNair at a restaurant a few hours before his death and accused him of slipping her roofies a year ago saying she would have her boyfriend kill him. Could this be a story planeted by Kazemi's family to try and clear her name?
-She was Persian and supposedly B'hai. In my opinion that still does not rule out an honor killing. -This was not McNair's first affair.
-Police are leaning toward murder-suicide with the jump-off being the shooter.
-They are still considering other angles such as:
1. Her jealous ex-boyfriend from Florida
2. Any of his former mistresses
3. His wife hiring a hitman
4. The roofie woman's boyfriend
5. Someone from her family (Iranians don't play, especially when it comes to the sexuality of their women. From the looks of her Facebook page she was on some Girls Gone Wild Type *hit.)

Serena Williams Won Wimbeldon

Serena Williams defeated her sister Venus Saturday in the women's finals at Wimbeldon. Serena won 7-6 6-2 to earn her 11th Grand Slam singles title in the 21st career meeting of the sisters. This victory brings her one short of the record set by legend Billie Jean King who was watching center court from the Royal Box on Saturday.
