Lil' Mama calls out a tranny

Lil' Mama had to backpeddle and issue an apology to a transitioning man-to-woman transgendered (are you still following this) contestant on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew" after saying this during the judging:
"Leiomy, come on. Your behavior ... it's unacceptable ... You were born a man and you are becoming a woman. If you're going to become a woman, act like a lady ... It gets too crazy and it gets confusing." Lil' Mama was referring to Leiomy Maldonado storming out of rehearsals with her dance group Vogue Evolution the week before the taping.

Lil' Mama got a lot of flak for her remarks so she sent the following apology to GLAAD:

"I would like to clarify anything that was misunderstood from Sunday's show. My remarks were never meant to be disrespectful regarding Leiomy's gender nor offensive to the LGBT community, which has been a community that has supported me in all my endeavors. However, in hindsight, I recognize that my words may have come across as hurtful. I spoke with her privately after the taping to express that it was not my intent to offend her or any member of the transgender community and that I still live for Vogue Evolution."
That's Lil' Mama at the top.

Dorion had his Twitter hacked

Someone hacked into Dorion from College Hill's Twitter account. Well, the hacker/former friend posted naked pics and his celebrity phone numbers on line. A publicist friend of mine called them and here's what happened:

Megan Good is disconnected
Tyson Beckford "all circuits are busy" over and over
Tracy Edmonds some white guy answered and asked if she got the number from Twitter. When she said yes and that she was a publicist, he said the number had been "compromised" and Tracy could no longer be reached at that number (in other words this was her number but they weren't taking calls until they could get it changed)
Christina Milian went to voice mail (She needs better people. This number should have been changed right away.)

The hacker also posted addresses and phone numbers for other celebrities and power brokers like Solange and Debra Lee (of BET). According to the Blogosphere, the hacker also accused Dorion of having affairs with Terrell Owens, Trey Songz (Necole Bitchie better check on that), Tyson Beckford, and Sammie and of spreading a "disease" to his lovers. Oh, and according to the hacker, Dorion isn't the only

one spreading a lil' sumthin around; Dorion's hacker friend claims suddenly red-hot crooner Drake of gifting famous-for-what? Teyana Taylor with a little reminder.

This morning Dorion took to the radio and his Twitter page to try and 'splain himself. He bemoaned feeling "exposed," "unsafe," and "hurt" and claims the pictures were only meant for one or two people. He apologized to his celebrity friends and thanked Twitter for taking down the info.

Don't these celebrities realize once they post something to one of these sites it lives on forever? Even if it is only up for an hour someone somewhere has caught them slippin' and will circulate their foolishness, best believe.

It's Raining Men or Face Down Ass Up

It rained men at the MTV Movie Awards last night, but Eminem didn't want to get wet. Actor and voice over star Sascha Baron Cohen, best known as the voice of King Julien in Madagascar and for the title character Borat, flew over the audience in a harness to promote his new movie, Bruno.

While in flight, Sascha hit an obstacle and ended up falling from the air. He landed right in Eminem's lap exposing his bare buttocks to the television audience and Eminem's horrified gaze.

According to an MTV spokesperson, Eminem stormed out "in a heated rage" after the incident at the Gibson Amphitheatre near Los Angeles where the live awards show was taking place.

"This is very exciting TV," quipped host Andy Samberg.

"I enjoyed his precision landing," actor Ben Stiller told backstage reporters. "I did not see that coming."

Unconfirmed reports say members of Eminem's entourage roughed up Sascha a bit before he regained his footing and continued with his act.

The Rap Battle Chick Explains Herself

You've probably seen the footage of the chick in the rap battle who decks the guy who made mention of an (may or may not be hypothetical) abortion. Well, she explains herself on her blog.

"We seriously have a sick, dysfunctional, high school relationship. But… It is what it is. Like I said earlier: I DID NOT MEAN TO DECK HIM. I was holding it back but the more I thought about what he said the more I wanted to hit him. Sorry Grandma. I felt justified, but the more I think about it now, it is an unfair situation for him: I’m a female so he can’t hit me back with out a bunch of ppl talkn crap, and he still gets talked about if he doesn’t hit me. We ALL know that if a woman feels she’s man enough to hit a man, she’s probably man enough to take a punch. I’m not sayin thats right either

Matter of fact, let’s say this:
Even tho it was a “rap battle” and that’s the only reason he was going so hard…I would do it again in a heart beat. Somebody’s gotta shut the kid up sometime!!! But I got love for him tho."

It's Never Too Late To Say You're Sorry

Remember when Oprah hailed James Frey's A Million Little Pieces as the next coming? The book shot up the Best Seller list and she had him on her show. It later came out he embellished parts of the memoir about addiction. His publisher dropped him, his car broke down, his wife left him, and his dog ran away. OK, only the first part of that sentence is true, but Oprah publicly shamed him on her show. She really let him have it saying he duped everyone and she felt he betrayed his readers.

Oprah called Frey last Fall to apologize for her treatment of him on the show. Frey said Winfrey called to tell him "I felt I owe you an apology," and she explained that her lambasting of him sprang from her sense of feeling betrayed, according to a Vanity Fair report.
"It was a nice surprise to hear from her, and I really appreciated the call and the sentiment."
