2010 52nd Grammy Awards Beyonce

Beyonce performed an impassioned medley of songs for the Grammys last night.  She opened with an army of soldiersswagger jacked from the "They Don't Really Care About Us" portion of Michael Jackson's:  This Is It behind her.  Beyonce was dressed in some sort of chain mail-inspired dress with her ever-present stilletos stomping out her shoe game proper.  I am in complete awe of her ability to run and dance in those things.  I can barely manage to look cute while I sit in them because they hurt!  She broke out into "If I Were A Boy", followed by a cover of Alannis Morrisette's "You Ought To Know."  I was left wondering two things:  1) What on Earth the soldiers had to do with either of the songs she sang? and 2) Considering how much Sasha Fierce loves the spotlight, why she would use her solo time on stage to sing someone else's song, and an old one at that?  Don't get me wrong, I love that song by AM.  It is fierce and Bey did it very well, but why couldn't she showcase some of her new work?  I didn't understand the headbanging bit either.  You know, since we're on a roll here, am I the only one who feels like "Single Ladies" and "Halo" have already been out for about five years?

Reee appears at the 77th lighting of the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center...she got that Chuck Taylor game proper! That Joe Jackson umbrella holder better get her inside before PETA gets there.

Solange giving the business

I really didn't like Solange's hair cut when those first pics came out of her taking her son to school, but I have to admit, she has finally gotten it right in these pictures. She looks like a Wookie raver in that ridiculous faux fur coat, but I love, love, love that picture in the black and white gown. The leopard shoes are to die for and I would kill for those black thigh high boots. Her hair and makeup are both on point and she is definitely serving it! Shoe game proper.

Shaq Made Shaunie a Plane

Remember when Shaq and Shaunie were on the brink of a bitter divorce? Well, those days are over. Shaq and Shaunie are frequently seen boo'd up these days and now he has plastered her name and face all over his private plane. She obviously has that whip appeal. Game proper, Shaunie, game proper.

Some Folks Are Mad Because She's Light Skinned

Some folks are up in arms because the girlfriend in Jeremiah's new "Birthday Sex" video is LSLH with light eyes. All I'm gonna say is shoe game proper, and I love the house. What do you think?

Perm Game Proper

Prince performed on the next to the Last Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday. I thought he was going to come on and work up a black sweat, but this was nice. It was a very chill moment on a hyped up show. I'll miss Leno.
