Tila Tiquila's fiancee died of natural causes

Tila Tequila's fiancee, Casey Johnson, heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, died of diabetic ketoacidosis according to the Los Angeles County coroner.  The 30-year-old socialite and friend of Paris Hilton was found dead at home on January 4.  She is survived by a young daughter.

Since you haven't been paying enough attention to quasi-adult-film star Tila Tequila, she had to resort to drastic measures. Tila had a meltdown on her live U-Stream channel Thursday stripping naked and ranting about her ex-boyfriend Shawne Merriman abusing her. She called him a "woman beater" and said of herself, “I am an angel…because I am here to save the world with my army.” Ooooookay. So now she's the messiah? Methinks we are all lost if that's the case. Girl get help.

The breakdown comes just days after filing a $1.5 million lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend, NFL star Shawne Merriman, for battery and false imprisonment. Tila issued a statement blaming her unusual behavior on anxiety and flashbacks from the alleged abuse.

Shawne Merriman issued this statement through his attorney regarding his girlfriend Tila Tequila's claims he choked her over the weekend:

“On September 6, 2009, the San Diego Sheriffs Department responded to a citizens complaint that was initiated by Tila Nguyen (aka Tila Tequila). I was taken into custody based upon that complaint. At the time, I was concerned about her welfare given the intoxicated state she appeared to be in and I encouraged her to stay until safe transportation could be provided. We would all do our best to help a friend if we considered their actions to be detrimental to their personal safety. I in no way caused any harm to Ms Nguyen, however, paramedics were called and she was examined but no injuries were reported. She was released and has since returned to Los Angeles, California. There have been no charges filed against me. I want to thank the San Diego Sheriffs Department for their professionalism. I will continue to cooperate fully with the Department and I look forward to clearing my name regarding these false allegations. I want to put this behind me so I can continue to focus on a successful season for the San Diego Chargers.”

Merriman Has Too Many Shots of Tequila

San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman was placed under citizens arrest Sunday by television reality show hostess and model Tila Nguyen, and accused of choking her, a spokeswoman for the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said.

Deputies responded around 3:45 a.m. to the 6'4", 25-year-old Merriman's house in the 12000 block of Sage Crest Drive in Poway, after a 4'11" woman called to say she was choked by the player and physically restrained when she had tried to leave, said Jan Caldwell of the Sheriff's Department.

Nguyen, who has also appeared on pornographic Web sites as Tila Tequila, signed a citizen's arrest complaint accusing Merriman of battery and false imprisonment. Nguyen, 27, was the hostess of "A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila" for two seasons on MTV, and photo spreads of her modeling have appeared in a number of men's magazines.

The woman was taken to Pomerado Hospital, and Merriman was taken into custody. His status at Central Jail was not released by authorities, pending a news conference at noon Sunday.

Merriman was the 12th overall pick out of the University of Maryland in the 2005 draft, and had 39.5 sacks in his first three years. The three-time Pro Bowler is considered the linchpin of the Bolts defense, and his absence last year was a major reason behind the 8-8 regular season record.
