Chris Johnson says he's faster than Usain Bolt

Tennessee Titans' Chris Johnson has been talking smack lately saying he's faster than Miami Dolphins receiver Ted Ginn, Jr. and even faster than Olympian and world record holder Usain Bolt. “I think I would beat him like in the 50,” Johnson said referring to the Jamaican sprinter.

Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder said Johnson would beat Ginn—and perhaps Bolt, too.
“He might roll Bolt in the 100,” Crowder said. “Y’all don’t know how fast that boy is. He is fast, fast, fast. Flat-out FAST—capital letters.”

Lloyd isn't sorry about what he said

Lloyd recently made some disparaging comments about Ciara claiming money and fame changed her for the worse. He stands by his comments, but he and Ciara have cleared the air:

"Let’s set the record straight on my “Hollywood Bitches” comment in Hip Hop
Weekly. I said what I said and I stand by it. But read exactly what I said, then
judge me. The truth is, I don’t fuck with Hollywood Bitches (or Hollywood Niggas
for that matter). No, I’m not calling Ciara a bitch, I’m saying that I think
celebrity status changed her for the worse, and because of that, we don’t get
down anymore.
Yesterday I spoke to CiCi for the first time in years. I called her to
explain my comments and to let her know how I felt about the situation. We had a
good one-on-one conversation that will remain between us. I respect and I love
CiCi like family, but sometimes family are the only ones that will tell you the
truth. I’m sure I could have found a better way to tell her, but what’s done is
done. We’re moving on.
The funny thing is, this Ciara question was the last
question in the HHW interview. At first, I lied and made up some answer to make
it seem like we were still cool. But when I hung up the phone, I felt like I
shoulda just kept it real, so I called back and answered the question honestly.
Maybe a little too honestly. But fair is fair, if I start acting Hollywood,
someone that knew me before the fame should call me out too. I wish CiCi the
best."

LisaRaye jumps bad on her ex-

Since she has faded from the blogosphere, LisaRaye McCoy-Misick (why is she still using his last name?) felt the need to have a chat with JET Magazine (they still publish JET?) about her ordeal with her ex-husband, Michael Misick, the former Premier of the Turks & Caicos:

"It didn't go down the way it was reported: [They said] I was airlifted, I was beat. Honey if I'm beat, that place would have been on fire. I am a South Side Chicago girl, ain't nobody putting their hands on me, and getting away with it – at all."

Now, I could be remembering this wrong, but wasn't LisaRaye boo-hooing to Essence Magazine right after her altercation with Misick and his people? (rumor has it Rocsi was in the house) Allegedly she was abruptly disinvited from the island nation she spent so much time promoting in an unprecedented international tourism campaign.

GQ is talking slick about Michael

Magazine publishers know a surefire way to move issues in this economy is to put Michael Jackson on the cover and GQ is no exception. The magazine features Michael on its upcoming September 2009 issue with the tagline "When Michael Was Cool." Former Def Jam exec. and ex-beau of Michael's sister Janet, Jermaine Dupri, took umbrage to backhanded compliment to the late King of Pop.

"HOT COVER WACK AZZ TITLE. SEE THIS IS THE SHIT THAT PISSES ME OFF PEOPLE WANNA USE THIS MAN TO MAKE THEM MONEY BUT CONTINUE TO THROW LIL SNEAK DISSES. AS FAR AS ANY FAN WOULD SAY, HE WAS COOL HIS WHOLE LIFE. I SAY THAT BECAUSE THE FANS ARE THE ONES THAT’S GONNA MAKE THIS COVER SELL 3 TIMES MORE MAGAZINES THAN THE LAST ONE SO WHY TITLE IT THIS?"

I happen to agree with JD. Members of the media have been talking slick about Michael for years; the sly criticism and denial of his musical and philanthropic contributions has increased exponentially since his passing. I for one, intend fire off a letter to the editor at GQ. (I write a lot of letters, both positive and negative, to a lot of companies; some companies ignore you, but you would be surprised at the responses I have gotten.) I think it is ridiculous the story would repeat the completely unfounded claims of Ian Halperin as well as shore up Martin Bashir's Satan-like deceptive journalistic tactics.

Teyana Taylor's Friend is Defending Chris Brown

This is Teyana Taylor's friend Yami Tsunami (Teyana has been all over the blogs lately, hasn't she?) giving her version of the Chrianna throw down. According to her Rihanna attacked Chris, threw the troublesome cell phone at him, and really messed up his face. Fast forward to the 29 minute mark where she says:

According to the British paper The Sun, Pink isn't too fond of your boy 'Ye. Here is what she had to say:

People deep into the animal rights movement feel VERY strongly about their beliefs. Kanye might have a price on his head after this.
