Mos Def announced Wednesday a plan to help raise money for victims of Hurricane Katrina. He wants to host an international event with entertainers having dancing, singing, stepping, and rap battles. He was especially excited when he issued a challenge pitting himself, Talib Kweli, and other members of the consciousness crew against heavy hitters Jay-Z, Kanye West, and others.
