Is Ma$e a hipocrite?

One of Ma$e's former church members is airing him out for hipocrisy. Christian rapper Legacy the Jesus is upset with Pastor Mason Betha for very publicly getting saved and preaching God's word then going back to the street life--and asking church members to fund it. For me, I’m an investor dog,” he continued, airing out Mase’s alleged shady ways when it came to getting money from church members. “Because I’m sewn into your ministry, you pulling us in the back room asking us to help fund your music projects because he didn’t have his label situation yet. So he literally asking people from the church to support that so I’m an investor at this point … you understand. And if you taking my money to do something contrary to what you told me then we got a problem. We got to sit back at the roundtable and talk about what your motives are.”

  1. i've been hearing folks say for a minute now that ma$e only became a preacher to make bread. i guess donations are down since the economy is hurting so he's trying something else now. i've never been to his church, but he talked about it on a morning show here in atlanta, and i remember him saying that he was trying to get it built. personally, i feel that any preacher that wears a suit that costs more than my car needs to be avoided.
also, there was a clip of funk flex talking to puffy about ma$e and black rob. i think i saw it on dime wars. it may be worth reposting here.

  2. Mason Betha is a pimp for Jesus. He is getting those dollas from the pulpit just like so many others.

  3. Mase should really be ashamed of himself. When he went to that church he renounced his gutter lifestyle and the people accepted him. Now he is pressuring those same people to finance his reentry and that ain't right.
