Nas responds to e-strange-d wife Kelis' demands for financial support as she prepares to give birth to the rapper's child, insisting his monthly salary is no where near as high as the she thinks it is.
He claims to have made around $4 million on his Def Jam deal not $11 million as his ex contends, and says his income has been on a steady decline, pulling in just $147,000 a month. With expenses of around $71,000 a month, including $10,000 a month in personal effects like clothes, Nas says he's not making much.
Nas, who says he wants to be "fully involved" in the parenting of their child, claims he's agreed to pay $350 for a stroller, $450 for a baby sling, $500 for a DNA test and $1,600 for two cribs. He thinks $5,000 a month is a more reasonable request than her $80,000, and within his budget.
The former couple is due to face off in a New York court on July 21st, when a judge will rule on the case. The child is also due this month.
Nas doesn't think that's his baby is what the problem is. When you marry a whore you never can be sure.

ReplyDeleteanyway, i'm not sure if he thinks this is his child but either way, kelis is crazy. don't get me wrong plenty of folks aren't wrapped too tight, but the woman sweats "crazy as hell" pheromones. either way, he's got what he bargained for. i doubt she claimed to be one way but then switched it up on him. he loved her being a crazy bitch, until the crazy bitch was against him instead of on his side. this is why i don't keep effed up people in my circle. cuz the moment they turn on you, they bring all of that mess in your direction.
I agree with you^^. She was crazy when he met her. He liked it cuz crazy girls have the best sex. He just didn't count on her having all that good sex with his friends and strangers.

ReplyDeleteyou mean hes giving 10k a month to his entourage, he aint ballin like that, and i dont think he has that kinda cash. i bet when he submits his real tax returns, he made like 2 mil from the contract and 500k from touring. nas hasnt had a hit in a while, and if he spending money like that, he isnt making it up off of sales. hes crazy and she was crazy, so what you expect ? a hood chick is still a hood chick no matter how much money they have and hes a hoe, putting a wedding band doesnt make a hoe into a husband.
