Keri Hilson BET Awards 2009



Um, WTH was all that at the end? She sounded like a drowning cat! And could she not hear herself through her earpiece? I ask because she was all out of tune and out of breath through most of the performance. They looked less Michael-inspired and more like Grease extras.

    She was terrible. I really don't think she can sing outside of the studio.

    Keri was in too much of a rush and you could tell she was nervous. She has to learn to have breath control. Once she gets that under control, I think she'll be alright, because many singers I've seen started out sounding a hot mess all out of breath and they finally got better through breath control. The same can happen to her. I also think this performance reminded more of Elvis than Michael Jackson. Well at least she tried.
