Maggie and John Anderson of Chicago vow to only patronize black-owned businesses for one year. Now, the Andersons are following up with thousands who signed up for the experiment on their Web site to network, gauge their commitment and set up online accounts to track their spending. Hundreds have also joined the experiment's Facebook page, Maggie Anderson said. Could you make this pledge?

When Tyler Perry heard about the 65 kids in Philly who were kicked out of the Valley Swim Club pool after paying to use it, TP decided to take matters into his own hands:

"So what I did was on Aug 1st thru 3rd I’m sending these kids to Disney World, and then to a Disney water park. I want them to know that for every act of evil that a few people will throw at you, there are millions more who will do something kind for them. This is all about the kids."

I know this doesn't have anything to do with entertainment-but this BS just ain't right.

A Philadelphia-area day care center said Thursday that members of a private swim club made racist comments about the center's children, and the club then canceled their swimming privileges. The day center's director, Alethea Wright, had contracted to use the club once a week. During their first visit, some children said they heard club members asking why African-American children were there.One of the boys told the Philadelphia Inquirer that a woman at the club said she feared the children "might do something" to her child. Days later, the day care center's $1,950 check was returned without explanation, Wright said.

According to John Duesler, President of The Valley Swim Club -- "there was concern that a lot of kids would change the complexion(WTF?!) ... and the atmosphere of the club."

A private Philadelphia boarding school, Girard College said Thursday that it plans to help the day care center.

I say we do like we used to do back in the day and load up the Electra 225, get Hickey, Steak Lips, Big Nook, Daze, the McCutcheons and dem, ride down to the Valley Swim Club and pee all up in they pool!
