Takers...

This is a poster from the movie Takers which debuts February 19, 2010 and stars Chris Breezy, Idris, T.I., Michael Ealy, Paul Walker and Matt Dillon.

I don't have a clue what it's about but it should have been called "Talkin' Out the Side 'yo Neck" because nobody's head sits on they neck right. Perhaps the possibility that two of the stars mentioned could be in the pen and miss the red carpet explains why they did what they had to do to the poster...

Should Idris ask Mrs. Jigga for Help?

Idris who appears on the cover of August's Essence Magazine, is also working on a CD that he hopes to release this year. The former club deejay (weren't we all) has a burgeoning music career in addition to his acting. Yet despite all those months they spent together on the set of “Obsessed,” Elba insists he never once asked Beyoncé for any feedback on his music.

“I’m too proud, basically,” he says, laughing. “I’ve been deejaying long enough to know the difference between a good record and a bad one, so I just figured I’m going to do it myself.

“But that said, Beyoncé is the kind of person that would say, ‘Yo ’Dris, let me hear what you got, let me see what you’re doing,’ and maybe steer me in the right direction — if I had asked,” says Elba, laughing again.

“But I didn’t.” Because let's face it. She can't sing and I don't have enough money to buy up all my own albums and concert tickets like they say she does.

Idris Elba tells us what he likes

“I’d rather date someone who’s regular. But what often happens is that she faces huge criticism like , ‘Why her? She’s Miss. Ordinary’ (I hear Tameka will be single soon)...Be an independent woman. I love that...There is something quite devious about my personality, he confides with a sly grin. I’ll do all the right things. I’ll be the upstanding gentleman but behind closed doors, I want to let loose. As long as I know my secrets aren’t going to get out. You know what I mean?”

Yeah, I do. Call me.
