Whitney Married Bobby to Stop Bisexual Rumors

Bobby Brown claims Whitney only married him to quiet the rumors about her sexuality. In his new (almost year old) tell-all book, Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But..., Brown writes, "(The marriage) was doomed from the very beginning... I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married... I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children with as many different women as possible."
"The media was accusing her of having a bisexual relationship with her assistant, Robin Crawford. Since she was the American Sweetheart and all, that didn't go too well with her image... In Whitney's situation, the only solution was to get married and have kids. That would kill all speculation, whether it was true or not. But of course, it didn't work."

Bobby says it ain't his fault and Whitney talked with Oprah

“I think we corrupted each other. I don’t think she hurt me or I hurt her in any way. I just think we had a 14-year marriage that had its ups and downs, and not many people understood it.”–Bobby Brown

Here is Whitney's full interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Arrest Warrant Issued for Bobby Brown

An arrest warrant has been issued for Bobby Brown after he failed to appear in a Massachusetts court on a contempt complaint.

Norfolk Judge Christina Harms ordered Brown arrested the next time the singer is in Massachusetts. He failed to appear at a June 29 hearing.

The Boston Herald reports that Brown has fallen $45,000 behind in child support payments for the two teenage children he had with former girlfriend Kim Ward.

A phone message was left for Brown's lawyer in Atlanta (which is actually his boy "TED's" voicemail box).

The 40-year-old Brown is a Boston native and ex-husband of Whitney Houston. He is supposed to pay $5,000 in child support per month for the children.

Brown was jailed for four days in 2007 for failing to make the payments.

King of Pop Once Asked New Edition For Help

New Edition's Bobby Brown , believe it or not, says his dance moves were once requested by the legendary King of Pop himself. According to Brown, Michael Jackson asked his group, New Edition, to help out with some dance moves back during their heyday.

"We went to his house," Brown said, speaking at the press room at the BET Awards after his group's tribute medley to the Jackson 5. "We were invited to teach him a couple of our moves. I'm not joking!" Brown, flanked by NE members Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill, said the group didn't get to stick around much after dancing with Jackson, although (Johnny Gill left MJ his number) they did get to see the video for "Thriller" before its official premiere, according to Tresvant. But what they really wanted from their encounter with Michael Jackson (to get adopted) didn't quite pan out.

The late icon invited the guys to stay the night at his house but, according to Brown, their manager turned the invite down."We were always upset about that, because we couldn't stay the night," Brown explained. "We were upset because we wanted to stay and get to know him better. I've spent a lot of time around some great artists, but he was definitely the greatest artist and person I've ever been around."

New Edition Reunited to Pay Homage to Michael BET Awards 2009

This was a cute way to open the show. I was expecting Chris Brown (more on that later), but this was a fun tribute. They could have been a bit more energetic with their dancing, but overall they get a pass for this set. Somebody's voice is shot...and I wanted to tell Joe Jackson to pull out his belt on Bobby Brown for all that inappropriate tongue action.
